As the election and destruction of New York approach, Nathan meets up with Linderman. Hiro attempts to steal the sword heading him in a new path. Suresh and Sylar make progress with the list at great cost. D.L. begins to suspect problems at home. Isaac paints an even more terrible painting. A new hero, Candice Wilmer, appears. Simone isn't dead yet.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Why did they end it like that?

Why do we have to wait weeks to see what happens????? (Though according to tv.com, the next episode is next week. I thought they were having a break? Ah well, I'm not complaining)

This episode was amazing, more and more revelations and shock twists.

Not only is Linderman as evil as we thought, he's also Malcolm MacDowell!!
Peter and Nathan's mother has been protecting Claire    :o
Nathan has more greed than sense
Mohinder is on to Sylar.

This episode had shocks galore, not the least of which being the fact that the Haitian was working for Mamma Petrelli all along :o It seems that everyone knows more than they've been letting on.

Nathan has been working with the FBI to take Linderman down, then as soon as Linderman makes him a better offer, well, he appears ready to take it

Mohinder drugs and (temporarily) holds Sylar, then like the idiot he really is, lets Sylar get loose. In time for Peter to come visiting. I can't wait to see that confrontation play out. :o :yahoo:

HRG did a great job of covering his tracks, until Candice (I don't like her at all) came along. Though hooray for the real Mrs HRG and her skills at playing dumb

Why do we have to wait so long for the next episode?

Too shocked to speak.......be back later when I have time to gather my thoughts :fear:

Unfortunately TV.com is in error here - schedules for next week have Family Guy and American Dad in the Canadian slot on Sunday, and an extended Deal or No Deal in the US slot on Monday.

Looks like a long wait until the end of April....

'kin 'ell :o

Not as good as last week (obviously) but in the grand scheme of things that was still pretty fracking awesome

Surprise upon shock after surprise upon shock :o

And that ending... :o :o :o

Glad Peter got rid of that stoopid hairstyle at last

It's going to be a long wait :(

Oh Kev Trek.

That is such piece of Mutant X. :(

Why can't they just show it all?

laughitupfuzzball - March 6, 2007 07:50 AM (GMT)
:o Peter - he better heal damn fast and give Sylar what for :guns: glad to see Mohinder is still alive-ish.

:o :o I know

I am thinking though that maybe Nathan was going to strike the deal to protect his family, maybe he isn't as bad as I thought.

Woohoo waffles for Hiro and Ando :yahoo:

Well Future Hiro did tell him he looked different without the scar - I guess now we know how he gets it :ponder:

Malcolm McDowell's name in the opening credits was a bit of a giveaway - as soon as I saw it I though "I bet he's playing Linderman"

Candice is alright :naughty:

Before or after she morphed into Mrs HRG? :p

And yes, you're right. A talented British actor guest starring in a US show? he could only be playing an evil manipulative b*stard

It's hard to come up to last week's standards but this was a typically good HEROES episode with lots of cool confrontations. A great cliff-hanger ending...

willowroolz - March 7, 2007 08:35 AM (GMT)
Anyone else notice how Jessica and Micah were playing on a Playstation 3?

I bet Jessica got hold of it in one of those drive by shootings on release day :ponder:

Or when Linderman got his money back, the suitcase was a few hundred dollars lighter.

Linderman blamed his lawyer, and that's why he had to be killed.

Worked out neatly for Jessica

Of course there is one problem here - According to the earlier episodes the bomb will go off on November 8th 2006, so logically we've not reached that date yet.

However, the PS3 wasn't released in the US until November 17th (and it wasn't even out in Japan until November 11th)....

Somebody pointed that out over on the 9th Wonders board as well - it hadn't even occurred to me

Maybe Micah "made it" using his super-dooper Hero powers?

My sentiments exactly, now I've finally got round to watching it! I've had it since Mon but been waiting till my day off so I can watch it in peace :D

So many things going on! I cheered out loud when Ando saved Hiro! Ando got his chance to be a hero too :yahoo:

Mamma Petrelli in on it all along - I knew it, I knew it!

LMAO @ Steve's comment about peter's hair :lmao:

Cant believe we have to wait until April - frellin APRIL - to see more :tear: Oh well, will just have to do a total rewatch to pacify me!

I was pleased to see Nikki re-appear, I thought Jessica had complete control, which was instantly proved wrong when she left the picture of Nathan on the pillow!

I cheered for Seresh when he captured Syler, tho figured it was too early in the season for the baddie to meet his demise. I wonder if Syler is working by himself, or if he is working for any of the other characters? Bit creepy seeing a dead Simone too, not hat I shall miss her - bit of a character filler, iffin you ask me! Seresh obv knows alot more than I gave him credit for too.

Nick - March 22, 2007 10:53 AM (GMT)
I can't wait for the next episode, Peter's going to kick Sylar's arse two ways to hell :guns:

Or at least I really hope so :whistling:

Disappointed with Isaac's turning on Peter, given how much they had helped each other before.

Such an amalgam of stories, the writers must be having a field day and they must be complete comic book geeks, the inspiration's showing

Can't believe they killed Eden, really annoyed me until the new bird turned up  Although she is a bit evil :ermm:

Dan Brown - March 24, 2007 11:16 PM (GMT)
This is better than Lost and dare I say it, yes for me this is better than 24.

The characters are fantastic and I find Mr. Bennet a fascinating character. All along we now realise that he just wants to protect Claire. I think he's probably the best character out of the lot, and he isn't even a Hero.

Eccelston has been fanatastic in this as well great to see him doing something worthwhile after Doctor Who, hope to see more of him.

Great to see my favourite underused Alias character (Weiss) or Greg Grunberg get a character with a substantial amount of screen time.

But I hope that Issac gets his just deserts, the jealous B@%$£^.

Can't wait for it to come back at the end of April. Especially with the (deliberate?) cliff hanger they seem to have put at the end of episode 18 which makes it feel like a season cliff hanger.

Yes already quite a few deaths as well Simone and Eden.

Quite alot of guest stars as well Eccelston, Macdowell, George Takei, Clea Duvall and Eric Roberts. Well they say great shows gain the interest from big stars but for them to be willing to appear in the first series is just a gauge of how well the scripts and storytelling must be.

I like how it can be serious and funny at the same time. For example from Hiro and Ando's antics to the struggle of Ted Spague to find out what happened to him.

Glad to see its got a second season, and hopefully more to come if it stays this good I could see it becoming as popular if not more so than The X-Files.

I also see that on wikipedia it says that the BBC has the rights to show it after Sci-fi, apparently in June. Hopefully it will become a hit over here as well.

Darris - March 26, 2007 01:24 AM (GMT)
I have started watching this from the start as ever since watching the first episode I thundered through them all as with each episode came new developments and I just had to get the next one. This time I am going to pay a lot more attention just in case I missed something!

I must say this episode was very good, I was screaming at my monitor for Mohinder to realise the man who was with him was not who he thought he was.
