Looks like they've taken the lazy route and just duplicated the original Region 1 release. Which, upon reflection, makes it all the more galling, given that I've intentionally held off from getting the R1 release so that I could eventually get it in widescreen.

To be fair, with the actual release being a few months away still it wouldn't surprise me. Otherwise, we may be left in a position where the DVD release episodes are actually an inferior quality to those actually broadcast :rolleyes:

I was extremely chuffed when I read that the Shield season three is finally being released on region 2. That is until I read it's going to be full-screen 4:3 not a wide screen 16 :9 release. :mad:
does anyone have any idea where I can complain to the distributor?
