God bless Canada for airing on a Sunday and we get to watch a day earlier!

Absolutely frellin brilliant - again!

Episode centres around the sam few characters and is absolutely brilliant from start to finish! So much new information given out - I tell you that you will :o :o :o at some of the flashback scenes! i'm not going to say nymore till a few others have watched and will then happily dissect every minute detail!!!

What an episode :o :o

So many questions answered, but even more are raised.

HRG used to work with Claude, both worked for Eric Roberts, and they all work for Hiro's dad :o :o :o

I giggled when I saw Eric Roberts on screen with Chris Eccleston, The Doctor and the Master on screen together again

The new questions?

Does Hiro's dad know about his abilities?
Who is the Haitian really working for? Nathan?
Will Matt really become HRG's new partner?
How will Nuke dude's capture affect the future? As far as I recall, he hasn't met Peter (go on, someone correct me) so how could Peter have absorbed his power?
Where is Claire headed?
Did Claude look better with the stubbly beard?

All in all, a fantastic episode, just a shame I need to wait another week to see where it goes from here :tear:

I do not know the answers to your questions, apart from the last one, and even then I can only offer my personal opinion!!! :lmao: (nope, claude looks better with the beard!)

I nearly peed myself when Hiro's dad appeared!! And how cute was little hiro!

There are so many theories going on and it makes you think so much your head hurts!

I liked the way this episode concentrated on Clare's family, HRG's history and Matt and the Nuke dude (i forgot his name too!!!!) I wonder how much more Eric Roberts will play in it? :ponder:

another week to wait now!!   and then we have a few weeks break before more episodes

LOL! His name is Ted (can't spell his surname, Spraugue? )

I still have faith in Nathan, that he isn't as involved as some of you seem to think. My theory is that Nathan and Peters father or mother is one of the people pulling strings.

I was slightly spoiled about Hiro's dad being involved as I had read an interview with Jack Coleman saying he had just filmed a scene entirely in Japanese :(

Did you notice that the main cast credits only listed Jack, Greg and Hayden? :o

I wonder who it was that Claude was hiding

grrrarrrgh - February 27, 2007 11:22 AM (GMT)
shame about the spoiler :( I was thinking the same thing about Mother Petrelli, there is something not quite right about her (unless its just the fact she reminds me of Cherie Blair :D) Roll on Monday!

jamiearmour - February 27, 2007 12:18 PM (GMT)
I have a feeling that Claude was hiding either Peter or Nathan, perhaps both.

He was fairly aggressive towards Peter when they first met, then when Peter explained who he was, and what he wanted, Claude eased up somewhat :ponder: I'm probably wrong.

What I want to know is... How did they recapture Matt? Did he go with them voluntarily? He seemed to be so on edge that nothing or nobody should have been able to sneak up on him

ALL the excitement about this episode was well-deserved.

One problem I've had with HEROES has been the switching storylines. While this allows several people's stories to be integrated, and it ensures a viewer's favorite will be appearing soon, this has the effect of dulling drama.

I thought I'd never see a episode focus on one story. But, as has often happened with this show, I was in for a surprise. And, as has often happened, the result was fantastic.

Expertly drawn out, with stunning and insightful flashbacks, and actors to match the plot's intensity, this is -- without question -- my favorite episode. And one I admire for the imagination and skill of the people behind the scenes.

I'm convinced that Hiro's father knows about Hiro's abilities now, I wondered if the Haitian was working together with Eccleston? they would have had contact when they were all working for the company and both have softer hearts :)

hmmm that bullet seemed a little high to me? I'm not going to be as harsh on HRG this episode as he looked particularly cute

I think Claude might have been hiding Peter or Nathan too and I can't help but think that their mother (or Cherie shall we call her) is involved.

Claire was excellent yet again  when will she meet up with her dad and uncle - it's got to happen soon hasn't it ...

Well, someone has got to save daddy from Jessica :ph43r: I have a feeling it will either be Claire or perhaps a super-powered Peter.

What the hell kind of power would he absorb from Nikki/Jessica? :fear:

My theory is that Nathan and Peters father or mother is one of the people pulling strings.

Their father's dead isn't he? Anyway, that kind of is what I was thinking, that their father was something to do with things years ago, when Claire was first taken. Not sure I think that after this episode, though

That was the best episode of the series so far, bar none. For once the story was concentrated, and the levels of tension and revelation that it achieved were amazing. Even Eric (The Ham) Roberts couldn't spoil it. The acting was superb.

I don't think we've mentioned him much, but Jack Coleman has been brilliant all along, and he took HRG to levels I didn't think he could possibly reach in this episode. That final scene was gut-wrenching - literally. It actually got me choked up - I was convinced that he was going to sacrifice himself to save Claire. In many ways, sacrificing his memories was even worse. The flashback of him telling her she was adopted was wonderful. In fact, all the flashbacks were spot on, which is rare because it's an overused and sometimes abused plot device.

All along I've been wondering when Claire was going to leave, and I'm curious to see where she goes now. I thought for a while that she'd go with Matt, but now Matt's submitted himself (I'm assuming) voluntarily I'm not sure what's going to happen to him. HRG's going to need an ally, that's for sure.

It was great to see some of Claude's background filled in. Like Jamie, I think he was protecting either Nathan or Peter :ponder:

Best episode of tv I've seen since Firefly's Out Of Gas, which means it was damn near perfect, imo. Ooh, and they both involved flashbacks. I hope Nick watches this soon

you're all right, best episode of the series, great reveals, great background. The most important thing is that it's incredibly interesting and very well paced.

What's HRG?

Glad he came good, so obvious about his wife though, or was that in 18?

<Tries to read Nick's mind to ascertain which bit he's referring to>

No, that was in 18

One thing I love about this show is that the line between good and bad is a bit blurry where some of the characters are concerned. HRG's a case in point :)

Just watched these up to the hiatus, agree with everything people say here especially Steve, this is the best TV since Firefly.
