Title: 01X16

Sweet Mother of God!!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o :o

How could they do it?

This episode had everything.

It was, to coin the cliche, action packed.

Peter finally learned how to access his stored powers, a bit by training from Claude, and then by necessity after a confrontation with HRG :fear:

Mohinder is onto Sylar, but doesn't realise that he himself is an accomplice :o

Matt is also onto HRG, with Ted :o Who seems hell bent on revenge.

Claire comes out and confronts her father.

Sh*t. What are they going to do next week.

I need to see more before I go completely user posted image

I'm in shock.

I pictured a hundred different ways that things could happen, but never once did I imagine this.

:fear:

Excellent eppy. A lot of interesting storylines. Increasing tension, just as we should expect as we head to the finale. Just two more episodes -- two more weeks -- to ka-blooey!

Are you guys familiar with comic book god Stan Lee? Creator of Spiderman, etc? He plays the bus driver that asks Hiro if he's alone or not.

TV Yank - February 21, 2007 02:29 AM (GMT)
This seems to be the best place for this spoilery note: Charlie, Hiro's favorite waitress, has been reincarnated ... sort of... Actress Jayma Mays (I think I mistakenly used another actresses' name earlier) has made a couple appearances, so far, on UGLY BETTY as "Charlie". :ponder:

willowroolz - February 21, 2007 08:29 AM (GMT)
Stan Lee's such an attention whore

All I can say is...

GO PETER!!!! :yahoo: :yahoo:

jamiearmour - February 21, 2007 10:44 AM (GMT)
I almost spilled my drink when I saw Stan (The Man) Lee's name in the cast list. :yahoo: And if you know me, then you know, I spill my drink for next to no man

Totally agree steve. Go Peter :yahoo: :yahoo:

Am I wrong to feel slightly concerned about HRG?

Who is that b*tch that has got Matt and Ted working with her to take him down. I don't trust her  She's a new character and automatically must be evil

She's hot! I'd rather she took me down.

She's Stana Katic. IMDb says she's of "Canadian descent". I've never heard that before. Like many actors nowadays, she is cryptic regarding her nationality.

Based on her name and the fact that she speaks Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian (as well as Italian and French), I'd guess she's Yugoslavian descent. (What? You've never heard of Yugoslavia?)

Her charater, Hana Gitelman, is a gifted Mossad agent whose adventures have been appearing on the graphic novels at NBC.COM.

Jesus! H! Christ! :o :o :o

I knew the ending was going to be a good un, because on the "what did you watch last" thread, the reactions of everyone was pure shock, but I never thought that would happen :tear:

Peter is spooking me slightly, but he was also sooooo cool!

Laugh of the ep:

Hiro "Take me with you or I wont tell you anything, Paaaaalllllllll" :lmao:

Is it true there are only 2 more eps? I thought all the big US dramas were 22 eps now I cant decide if I'm in a "roll on monday" mode or "please let monday take forever so I cam drag out the pleasure as long as possible" :lmao:

My reaction was more about Peter using his abilities, plus Sprague and Matt catching up with HRG. I wasn't that bothered about Simone, tbh - I found her to be a bit of a non-entity - and I'm not even sure I believe that she's gone for good yet :ponder:

There's two more episodes and then there's another break before we get the final run to the end of the season ;)

grrrarrrgh - February 22, 2007 01:30 PM (GMT)
A break? Surely thats illegal with a show like this?!!! :lmao: Glad to know there are more episodes but how long will the break be? (sam is to lazy to Google and is also terrified of finding spoilers!)

willowroolz - February 22, 2007 01:34 PM (GMT)
From USA Today:

QUOTE
The second pod has seven new consecutive episodes, followed by another break in March. Heroes will finish the season with a five-episode stretch ending in May.

That makes a 23 episode season, doesn't it?

grrrarrrgh - February 22, 2007 01:36 PM (GMT)
possible 2 hour season finale?

Just a little heads up for anyone outside of the US/Canada who's 'acquiring' the series - effective next week the series will be shown a day earlier in Canada since Global (the channel which shows it) has replaced the Heroes slot with 'The Black Donnellys', and moved Heroes to the day before. As a result I assume the episode should be available Monday morning in the UK....

Good news for us in Canada (unless your wife watches Desperate Housewives on the other side :))

grrrarrrgh - February 22, 2007 03:51 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the heads up Phillip - tis good news for all the "obtaining" types too!!!!!!

Sheez...I'll be the last one to see it.  :ponder:

 In what way? that he's an evil S.O.B

You know Claire has got to break away, I wonder if she will end up going with Matt and the others.

"what's that sound"

"murder" :o classic

I wonder if that power might be Sylar's undoing?

Yay for Peter

:yahoo: how cool was that! :yahoo:

Yeah, that crossed my mind too - he was getting seriously freaked out by it and, lets be honest, its a slightly unconventional ability - even in Superhero terms. :D

willowroolz - February 22, 2007 05:54 PM (GMT)
Pure speculation but...

I'm still wondering if HRG is working for Nathan, after what Nathan said to Simone about having people out searching for Peter (if he meant Isaac why didn't he just tell her that?). Working for him and concealing his daughter from him :ponder:

Nathan got Meredith pregnant. Daddy Petrelli wasn't happy about it and told Nathan to deal with it. Nathan got HRG to start the fire that was supposed to kill Meredith and Claire - but HRG saved Claire :ponder: :ponder:

It might also be another reason for HRG not wanting Claire to meet her real parents :ponder:

Absolute tosh, but I like it :ph43r:

TV Yank - February 22, 2007 06:08 PM (GMT)
Anyone want to join in speculating?

--------------------------------

How could we get Sylar to inherit the radioactive power and explode?

--------------------------------

jamiearmour - February 22, 2007 08:21 PM (GMT)
Well, I've seen the teaser for the next episode :ph43r: OMG!! It looks like it's just going to get better

As for speculation. Well, I don't really think that HRG is as bad as I used to think he was. I mean, he wanted Sylar caught, even before he went after Claire, so I'm pretty sure he has no (personal) evil intent, as that could lead to harming Claire, and we know he'll do whatever it takes to prevent that happening.

As for who he's working for? It is either going to be Nathan or Linderman.

Yeah, I know I keep going on about Linderman in practically every post I write on here, but I want/need to know who he is, and what his intentions are. Besides Nathan's death that is

And I keep forgetting about Linderman. I think you're right, however. His identity and purpose are crucial.

One question that plagues me: Is Linderman one of the people we've met already?

I noticed when rewatching 1x01 the other night that the very first time we see Nathan he's on the phone to Linderman

Soooo, maybe Nathan's working for Linderman and HRG's working for Nathan

And they'll all end up working for Sulu

And they're all working for a mysterious guy called Charlie, who only ever communicates via the phone.

Wait a damn minute..... Linderman has only ever been in touch with anyone over the phone. So Linderman must, by logical deduction be...... Charles Townsend :o :o

John Forsythe you bast*rd. How dare you put a hit out on Nathan :guns:
