It does not matter what you opinions of her were, this is still so tragic. :(

As you say, My opinion of her was, shall we say, less than adequate, but yes, it is tragic when someone so young dies. I'm sure someone will miss her

I just read about this. It is incredibly tragic :tear: That poor baby girl :tear:

she didn't choose a quiet life but it's still sad to learn about the death of a young person
buffy_fan1 - February 9, 2007 12:50 PM (GMT)
As many other people have said I wasn't a fan but always sad when someone dies so young! :( As Katie said I feel so sorry for her baby daughter!

I have to say I'm more sad about Ian Richardson's death :(
A truly great actor, but of course, given his renowned modesty, I'm sure he "couldn't possibly comment"
A sad loss.

:( Indeed that is very sad

Ironic, isn't it? Ian Richardson had a long, respectable career but I never heard about his death. Blowsy, untalented Anne Nichol is ALL OVER the news. It's gonna get worse. The ugly squabble over the possible fortune from her marriage to the octagenarian will keep her in the news for a long time to come. (Where's a vomitus icon now that I need it.)
jamiearmour - February 9, 2007 08:20 PM (GMT)
Not just the squabble over the money, there's a paternity battle over who the real father of her two year old daughter is.
God help that poor child, she may soon know who her father is, but she'll never know her mother.
That is perhaps the saddest thing in this whole story

Part of the reason for the paternity battle is the possible inheritance. If Anna's marriage to Stern was not valid, then the little girl is the heir (depending on the outcome of that battle). The real father would gain custody of a rich little girl. (That's what I mean by ugly.)

It is ugly. :( Fortunately, that tiny baby is only a few months old (5 months I think) so one would HOPE it will all be resolved by the time the baby is old enough to know any better. I just hope that the law takes into consideration that its very easy to be a sperm donor - being a Dad is a completely different kettle of fish. I'm sure the baby would settle for a contented life over bags of money and a miserable one. Sorry for harping on, but things like this really get to me - I guess its being a parent myself.

There are pictures in this week's Enquirer of Anna Nicole..... dead.
Apparently, the staff at the county morgue were somewhat hacked off with the special treatment afforded to ANS.
Instead of the usual family identifying from behind a window, they had undertakers come in, make her up, dress her up, and then they allowed the family (her mother, Stern, Birkhead) to view her in...... wait for it.....
... the morgue's canteen.
Staff are refusing to use it until it's been cleaned!
Also in the article ..... so called evidence of an internet conversation between Anna and a friend, in which she admits she's pregnant and that the father is Larry Birkhead.
Thank god that child has no idea what's going on, though she'll probably need years of therapy once she finds out. :(
