Amazing, just absolutely fantastic!

Easily the best episode since Reckoning

Certainly had that 'setting up a spinoff' vibe about it too.

Loving this season.

 Fantastic stuff

I found it incredibly frustrating at the end when they all walked off and Clark stayed behind though <_<

The potential there is massive if they do it right

Loved Lex's "And I want a ponytail" line :lmao:

It seems that this season has emphasised yet further that the main catalyst for Lex going bad is that a) everyone lies to him; Lionel, Clark, even Lana, and that B) he keeps getting the shit kicked out of him almost every week!

Fantastic episode though, plenty of scope for a spinoff there.

Fantastic episode

I especially liked that Clarke finally came clean to Chloe about the rest of the 'supers' and that she got to help them

To me, whilst the character of Lex has gone down the pan this season, Chloe has gone from strength to strength :D

Best part of the episode.......NO LANA :lmao:

Have to say, as far as characters go, I've never wanted Lana to die so horribly as this season.

She was annoying before, but she seems to have adopted this whole 'holier than thou' attitude that just paints her as uber-witch!

She moans when Clark has a go about Lex, yet she's perfectly willing to lie to him, knowing full well what an evil little tyke he is  Then she whinges about Clark, and then Chloe, keeping secrets, yet has no problem from keeping her own whenever it takes her fancy.

Bitch.

I loved this episode. Right down to their HQ being called the "Watchtower"

Though they should have got their nicknames right. "Boyscout" is Bat's nickname for Clark, GA calls him "Big Blue" <_< (Sorry, comic fanboy alert   )

I agree James, the spinoff potential is awesome if they don't f**k it up I still remember Mercy Reef (to my shame and eternal horror)

Surely that's after he gets the costume, though?

It would be wrong of me to say that I thought exactly the same thing  :ph43r:

Totally agree about Chloe

And she's damn sexy too

I loved the bit where they all walked out of the building, in a sort of V shape with Clark in the lead, and then it explodes behind them

If they do do a spin-off series that image should be in the credits

Have you not noticed what he wears week in week out?

Surely the people of Kansas must wonder what Martha is spending her Senator's paycheck on if her son only has one outfit in his wardrobe

If he painted an S on his t shirt, it would be a prototype for his costume

True enough

That plaid shirt he wears sometimes might earn him the name of The Lumberjack though

Boy Scout is a much more appropriate name for him at the moment :ponder:

Actually, I think Lovesick Twat would work best

jamiearmour - January 24, 2007 02:33 PM (GMT)
I'm starting to pray that they do kill Lana soon, and make it look like Clark's fault, and that will lead to the rift between Lex and Clark becoming a chasm, and hence the later (shall we say) animosity between them.

Something drawn out and agonisingly painful would be best I think :whistling:

Crichton Kicks - January 24, 2007 06:11 PM (GMT)
I think the rift between Clark and Lex is pretty wide as things stand. I thought they should actually have had Lana saying no to him to solidify the animousity, especially as she said the doubts were down to her feelings for Clark.

Of course in the comics, didn't Lana end up with Pete 'The Boss' Ross? That would make a great twist in Smallville!
