Can't really think of too much to say on this one, that I haven't said about the other eps tbh :shrug:
The ep was generally very good, and had that 'must watch' factor to it, despite a few clumbsy bits of writing.
Can't make my mind up if I would have preferred Sam to shoot his Dad or not :shrug:
Still set's things up nicely for S2 although I'd be surprised if they pick the arc up straight away - most US shows seem to enjoy building the arc up for the season finale and then dropping it for the first half a dozen eps for some reason :ponder:
Guess I'll find out soon as I downloaded the first x amount of eps last night :whistling:

I think it would have lessened him as a character if he had. I liked the fact that, even then, he disobeyed his father's orders - very consistent with their history :lol:
The aspect of that scene that I really liked was the way John effectively became part of two families. There's Dean desperately trying to keep his family together and there's the demon telling him about how they've killed his family :thumbsup:
