The second part of this was just as good as the first (IMO), with the dragon being dealt with in a typically SG1 type way (with Daniel saving the day at the last minute :lol: )

The rest of the episode dealt with many things that had been seen or had been building for the last few years in the SG universe (Big thumbs up on the continued amazing sense of continuity on this show :thumbsup: )

Finally meeting Merlin, Daniel finally sticking his head in one of those Ancient mind things, building the anti-Ori weapon, Daniel developing mental powers (more to say on that after Atlantis starts up again ;) ), and then Adria taking Daniel captive for his knowledge :fear:

Lets face it, I always suspected that Adria would get her sticky fingers on our Daniel, she said she had plans for him often enough, but Vala's reaction to it was worth all the angst :tear:

In an episode full of unexpected belly laughs ("Puff?" "Yet another reason to mourn his passing") I found that the speech that has struck the biggest cord with me was in a scene between Vala and Mitchell (shades of John and Aeryn???)

I'm not sure whether I want to thank Sky one for showing this, or pilory them for not advertising that they would be showing it. I only happened upon it by chance :rolleyes: But hey ho, I loved it.

I did like Mitchell trying to shoot her and then muttering "Why do I bother?" Very Crichton :lol:

I knew I'd mentioned it on Sci fi scotland but I've just checked and posted it on the prison break thread when discussing its return :lol:
