Excellent episode. I was intrigued by the whales to begin with 'Sam' and loved seeing some more outside shots for a change and it was great to see their purpose revealed
I just knew they were going to use up another ZPM though
I thought that the ghosts they were seeing were going to have been the recent Ancients that perished but it was pretty obvious that it was whale sounds.
I did chuckle at Caldwell being seriously annoyed that they couldn't beam down to Atlantis and eww at the ear bleeding :x
I hope they continue to be as good as this for the rest of the season :D

LOL @ all the characters having to shout to each other though
"Celine Dion is over rated!!" :lmao:
As you say, another great episode, I found it really quite scary at the beginning when it looked like Teyla was seeing ghosts :fear:
I'm now starting to wonder if they are going to start something between Teyla and Ronan, the writers certainly seemed to add quite a few 'close' moments between the two of them in this episode ;)

Another great ep. Very original idea, although it did seem to get a little bit contrived (whales have memories that go back over 15000 years?).
I hope they have the buick-sized lobster in the next series.

Apparently the Atlantean ones do
I have to admit, I do like "Sam" though the explaination of why McKay gave the whale that name, could have come across better in conversation
And Thermadore for all :yahoo: :yahoo:

I thought it was a really good episode. Loved the name of "Sam" for the whale, and all the shouting/deafness.
I was hoping they would come back to the whale storyline again.
Many funny moments in this episode:
"Zelenka is smarter than you"
"Pigeons"
Ronan snoring during meditation.
Very good ep, hope they continue to be as good as this.
