Though, I'm intrigued about how he'll depart. He won't be killed, he'll disappear, maybe to return at a later date :ponder:

It's a shame that it'll bring an end to the hilarious Beckett/Rodney double team. Though if he's making way for an SG1 cast member to pop over next year.......... :ponder:

On first glance this really pissed me off, but then I noticed that they're supposedly drafting in Jewel Staite to replace him. :thumbsup:

Seriously though, it's a great shame IMO, he's one of my favourite characters on Atlantis.

That's quite spooky as he played Ernest who disappeared in the Torment of Tantalus in the first season of Stargate - hope he doesn't come back as an old man then :lol:

Sad though, he is one of my favourite cast members although I'm looking forward to Jewel being in the show. :)

You guys have been saying exactly what I was thinking, I love Carson (he's my fav :( ) and it will be really sad for him to leave, but the addition of Jewel to the cast is just so exciting that it almost makes it all better :lol:
