TV Land announced its list of the 100 greatest TV quotes and catchphrases of the past 60 years, featuring recognizable lines from popular science-fiction series from Star Trek to The X-Files. The selections will be counted down in a week-long series of specials beginning Monday, Dec. 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Guest stars include Batman's Adam West and Burt Ward, who discuss the origins of their classically cheesy exclamations, and William Shatner, whose opening narration from the original Star Trek series made the top 20. The 100 Greatest TV Quotes and Catchphrases gives viewers a look inside the origins of some of pop culture's most remembered and repeated catchphrases, the network said in a press release.
