synopsis from tv.com
Does contain mild, hidden spoilers for a future episode.
Woohoo, Ollie's back :yahoo: and topless within a few minutes of the ep starting
But on to the plot.
OK, it's hackneyed, this plot's been around the houses more often than a policeman in Parkhead  New superdrug, cures all ills, but causes severe outbursts of anger.
It was however superbly underplayed by Justin Hartley, from the actual rage, to the look of shock and horror when he realised what he'd done to Lois :o
Again, the script writers go a little bit mad, with lines like Bring justice to the world and I'm not in your league if the title of episode 11 hadn't already been announced, we'd be able to see it coming from those two lines of dialogue.
And Lana's pregnant? :o
Was I the only one praying that she'd tell Chloe she had an inoperable brain tumour and that she'd die before Christmas? :whistling:
The ending though, was twee beyond belief. It could only have been more so if they had Johnathan's ghost standing behind Martha smiling
Most shocking scene? Lionel and Martha in the kitchen :o :o :o
I'm saying nothing more about that. My brain feels dirty just thinking about it now.

no you were not. i was sitting there chanting "c'mon... brain tumour, brain tumour..."
but alas, she was just carrying lex's demon seed. which you just KNOW she lose before it's due
loving oliver getting on clark's case about sitting on his arse, while he could be saving lives. hopefully this will lead towards clark doing more superpower stuff in metropolis.
still haven't figured out what lionel is up to :ph43r:

I don't think Lionel knows what he's up to either. He's bouncing between good and bad so much these days  Though I do get the feeling that he really does care for Martha, and, to a lesser extent, Clark.
Could we be looking at Lana carrying Zod's demon child? :fear: Maybe it'll kick it's way out of her uterus and she'll die that way, in agony
We can but hope

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who wanted it to be something serious and/or deadly
What is also bugging me now is that Clark hasn't told Chloe about Oliver, he knows that she can be trusted so why is he keeping yet another secret???
jamiearmour - November 16, 2006 04:00 PM (GMT)
I think it's a matter of trust between him and Ollie
I'm not sure that Ollie is ready to come out of the superhero closet right now

yeah, it' not his secret to tell, so i suppose he thinks it would be wrong. :innocent:

Finally got around to watching this
I was hoping the stabbing pain in her head would develop into something like, oh, an actual stabbing, but hey ho it was all a bit predictable in the end <_<
Talking of the end, OMG that was vomit inducing. I know Smallville has a tendency to get all misty-eyed in that good ol' American way, but this was just putrid :x
Still better than the next episode, though
Mainly for Lois in that dress at the start :naughty:
