When we went to the last Collectormania she made some remark about all these Nerds and Geeks in one room.......then went and bought a load of Photo's of Michael Shanks and Nathan Fillion, and then a Firefly T-shirt...... :lol:

He's a really lovely man if you meet him in person, very friendly and willing to chat :thumbsup:

From the interviews I've seen, He and Chris Judge make quite a double act.....seemingly unable to take anything seriously....... :thumbsup:

Well I have met most of guests so it would be a bit of an expensive exercise, especially as there are other conventions with guests I haven't met before.

What's she like to meet? I've read differing opinions... I;m a bit paranoid she won't want to pose for a quick photo with my wife and I (the photos are more important than a signature really)

I'm more excited about meeting Tony and James, but Charisma will be a nice bonus :)

I met her in London with my son and she was really really friendly and chatty, just like bouncy Cordy, very down to earth :thumbsup: she had a sign up - no posed photos :( but that might be her agent, she was happy to personalise the photo :)


I met James the other year and he was friendly but not that chatty and No Photos enforced by security guards going up and down the queues!!! - mind you he had JCB next to him at the time and he's got a new Agent now

only went to see anthony head :thumbsup: nicely signed my comic book :thumbsup:, he is still waiting to hear from joss about the ripper Tv serie (there is hope :unsure: ) , he didn't really have time to read the buffy season eight comic :o :ponder: and that was it (too short :( )

also notice groo and the guy playing adam (darn, isn't he tall? or maybe it was just because he was standing near a girl for a photo :lol: )

Well we went to Collectormania 11 on Sunday and had a wonderful time (again!)

We got there pretty early and queued up to see Charisma Carpenter first (our two priorities for meeting for autographs were Charisma and Anthony Head, we had photoshoot passes for James Marsters already so we didn't have to worry about queueing up to meet him (before the doors had even opened the queue for James was snaking around the building!). We figured Charisma would be the busier of the two so went for her first, turned out we were second in line to get tickets for her.

We pottered about the shopping centre while we were waiting for things to happen, there are always plenty of stalls to checkout and I couldn't resist getting a picture next to the Tardis and Davros!



We then went to queue up to actually meet Charisma, she seemed very nice and I have to say, a lot prettier in real life than on TV (I always thought she was one of those people that looked too "perfect" it just seemed a bit weird, y'know?), it was all over very quickly though and seemed a bit "professional", it was nice to meet her but it didn't seem like an "experience" like meeting Amber Benson.





Then it was time for the "main event", the James Marsters photoshoot, these things are all very quick and over in a second, or so I thought! We queued up for what must have been at least 30 minutes (he had at least 500 people to have photos with), it's a case of shaking hands, saying hello, having a photo taken and then on your way, I was lucky though as the photographer had to change film while it was my turn so I had a good minute or so with James (to the envy of the women in the queue, who outnumbered the men about 30 to 1!!). He really is a very warm and welcoming man, he really felt like a superstar too. I somehow managed to get two photos from the thing too! I went back and met him later on to get one of them signed because he was so nice.








Tony Head was next up, and what a fantastic man! Very charming and talkative, you feel like you could spend ages talking to some of the guests but lingering in the back of your mind are the people behind you waiting. I asked him about the new Sweeney Todd movie and he said Tim Burton was a very nice man and great to work with while Johnny Depp was "adorable", he'd signed a contract saying he couldn't actually say anything about the film tough and had a giggle when I asked him about it.

We went for some lunch and I met this guy outside

Chris great photos I'm not Jealous at all ok I'm lying great photos Tony I just can't enough nice things about him great guy when met him a while I was nervous about it all big thanks to Karen and Alex for helping me out. Anyway point I was tying make was within seconds he had me relaxed and got me talking.

Is just or James look as he is getting younger?
