Lingering feelings of rage lead Saul Tigh and Kara Thrace to cause problems aboard Galactica between the survivors from New Caprica and those who stayed with the fleet during the Occupation.

Baltar assists the Cylons in an attempt to stay alive. He uncovers details about Cylon civilization.

Meanwhile, a Cylon baseship--sent to investigate the area near a nebula--falls victim to a mysterious disease.

No-one talking about this one either? :)

I thought it was another fantastic episode (unlike some naysayers on other forums and despite the slipping ratings I'm finding this season as strong as ever)

And yet again EJO has proved why he's the best thing in the series with the whole smackdown scene with Kara and Tigh, although I'm concerned as to where this Tih thing is going to end up.....

Another excellent episode.

I'm guessing we should see a re emergence of the 'old' Starbuck now. Tigh I think, he's done with it, kind of expected after having to assasinate his wife

I love the cylon angle, again, it's another one of those 'who exactly are you sympathising with'.

I'm very very very intrigued now with the missing 5 cylon models. Are they total human sympathisiers or the opposite, and you just know, one of them at least, has to be someone we're not expecting it to be, on Galactica.

Only gripe was the hybrid, it looked visually stunning but not exactly an original look. A definite borrowing from The Matrix or Minority Report I think :)

Okay, who put the thin suit on Apollo?

Naked Boomer

Er, did anything else happen?

Finally we get a mention of the rest of the Cylon models. Like you, Lisa, definitely intrigued now.

For a horrible moment I thought Baltar was going to scrub some of the dirt off that probe and reveal the word "Voyager", and then have the Cylons running around for the rest of the series looking for Vejur

Totally agree about the hybrid, Lisa - the first things that sprang into my mind were Minority Report and also the navigators, or whatever they were called, in the Dune novels :ponder:

Best bit of the whole episode, though, was Adama confronting Tigh and Starbuck. A stunning scene, and the best material Eddie Olmos has been given in ages. It's almost like they've forgotten that he can act the rest of them off the screen with a twitch of his eyebrow. That scene took me back to his performance in season 1's Act of Contrition - absolutely stunning. I'm fracked if I'd argue with him :fear:

The final few moments were very emotional, too, with Kara going to see Casey, Tigh drinking himself into a stupour...

And then the Lion's Head - how spooky was the shot of the Cylon fighter drifting past?

Another fracking superb episode :yahoo:

Oh, and what on earth does Michael Hogan have to do to get his name in the main credits? It's an absolute disgrace! :snooty:

Oh, and what on earth does Michael Hogan have to do to get his name in the main credits? It's an absolute disgrace! :snooty:

I wonder if it's a decision from TPTB to keep him off the credits, or if he's doing an Amber Benson and deliberately asking to be kept off the main credits so giving him a bit more freedom to do other things?

Also, if he's not in the credits it means we don't know if they're going to kill him off - there have been enough opportunities to do so in the last few episodes - for one, I wonder what will happen with his eye - is he going to keep the eyepatch for the rest of the series? I don't think the Galactica has the equipment to give him a magic cybernetic eye like on other series.....

What's with this changing Boomer into Athena? Apollo's sister in the original series, who fancied Starbuck... Oh hang on, the latter bit might work :naughty: :innocent:

A definite borrowing from The Matrix

FWIW The Matrix borrowed heavily from 'V' in terms of the humans in a pod design (and it's almost undoubtably where ST got there Borg designs from as well).

Of course I'm sure 'V' probably nicked this from somewhere as well
