When this one started I thought "Yay, something a bit more interesting at last!", but then it kind of died on its feet. I was amazed at how quickly and easily Sisko changed his mind when O'Brien decided he didn't like the idea of leaving the planet and changing the timeline :ponder:

Pretty much a typical Trek ep this one with the whole everything reverts back to normal at the end thing, although I seem to recall a couple of follow up comments in the next ep or so :)
That aside I always quite like it but it does seem daft that they decide to stay, based on the justification of not killing their 'new' descendents, as opposed to of course staying in a time paradox and thus 'killing' all their descendents that would have been born if they'd never visited the place

You could've just said you agreed with me :p

Nah, changing one of the fundamental constants of the universe is never a good plan

Problems around rationality and logic aside, I've always enjoyed this one :)

That's a tad harsh Dave, I'm sure myself, and Steve would never stoop to ganging up on anyone...... :whistling:
I remember not watching this episode for ages because it sounded rubbish. I was pleasantly surprised when it actually turned out to be decent.

We both point out it's flawed but I recall no 'quite liked it' statement from you :snooty:
