Wasn't quite convinced with this one, mainly due to the odd opening and horribly tacky ending.

The opening seemed almost forced and really didn't help the lead in to the episode proper - not sure if they were trying to go for a slightly 'off' feel or something but whatever they were up to it didn't really w**k for me.

The middle of the ep this was pretty good imo and worked well - I liked the little clues Riker picked up on and his subsequent refusal to carry on playing along.

As for the final scene with Riker putting his arm around alien boy and saying "to me you'll always be Jean Luc" :x

Tosh, it's a fantastic episode :p

If I ever get around to the rewatch again I'll post more :lol: :rolleyes:
