Title: 2x02 Everybody Loves A Clown

I thought this episode was a little weak in the actual supernatural parts, the clown just wasn't scary enough  (He was no Pennywise  ) But the rest of the episode more than made up for it
Dean, just what did his dad tell him? Does he realise that his dad gave his life to save him? Will he ever talk to Sam about what he is going through? Poor baby :tear: It was nice to see his interactions with guest star Alona Tal though, it was about the only time he was being open and honest. LOL! She will always be know as Meg to me :ph43r:
There were some great one liners here, mostly all from Dean, I laughed out loud quite a few times, especially about the mullet

I loved this episode, altho I disagree with Melian, I thought that Clown was bloody freakish! Especially when he waved to the first kid! :fear:
Stand out moments for :lmao:
The sappy Music and Dean's "soccermom" comment when arriving in the borrowed "car"
Dean making Sam sit in the Clown Seat
The argument Dean had with the blind guy and the little guy!!!!
Stand out moments for
Burning John's body
Dean smashing up the car.
Really liked the new characters too - espcially mullet guy :lmao:
This is one of the best shows to come out recently, IMO, I cant get enuff of it! :yahoo:

Pretty good episode this one.
The clown was satisfactorily creepy IMO. Pennywise was creepy in an extroverted loudmouth way, this fella was literally, deadly silent. I thought it was quite effective.
I'm not much for Clowns, and I find little people unnerving as well, this had them both so produced a pretty freaky episode all in all.
Probably enjoyed this one more than the season opener myself.

I loved the little arguement they had in the van when Dean was making fun of Sams clown phobia
"You're scared of flying"
"Hey! Planes crash!"
"And apparently Clowns kill!"

Yeah, loved that bit.
They need to be careful IMO, and not add too many recurring characters on the show. One of it's greatest strengths IMO is the Sam/Dean dynamic. Due to the nature of the show the dynamic's had that much exposure that it's quite highly developed already. Don't really want them losing that.

I thought the clown was darn scary too, I think it's just you that's immune Karen
Loved it  and really felt for Dean at the end :(

That was my favourite bit, too - that and the bit with the chair. Oh, and the look Ash gave Dean when he went to use his laptop
And I completely agree, James - the dynamic between Pearl and Dean is the aspect that hooked me into the show in the first place. By and large - and this isn't a criticism - I've seen all the supernatural stuff elsewhere before (although they usually put a great spin on it in this show), but it's those two characters that make it w**k
I wonder how often we'll see Ellen and co. Maybe they'll become like Supernatural's Lone Gunmen
I have to say, I just don't get why people get scared of clowns, don't get it at all
I still enjoyed this episode, though, and again it was because of the two leads. I thought they handled the swings between humour and drama beautifully in this episode, and the scenes where they gradually began to deal with John's death were some of the best of the series so far for me, especially Sam's speech at the end, which struck quite a few chords with me, and Dean's subsequent outpouring of anger. I really felt for both of them :(
People can talk about how amazing the acting is in shows like The Sopranos etc (and I frequently do  ) but it always bugs me how the actors in shows such as this never get the credit they deserve <_<
