Title: No More Hermione?

Morrish - October 2, 2006 11:16 PM (GMT)
Emma Watson has hinted that she may not take part in the final two Harry Potter movies.

The 16-year-old is currently filming the fifth film in the series, but has admitted that the timescale involved may lead to her having to forgo the final parts.

The actress, who will turn 20 before the seventh film is completed, may not make the commitment to see the franchise through.

She said: "I don't know yet. Every film is so huge and it's a long time. I love to perform but there are many other things I love doing."

That is from Digital Spy.

I am outraged. She has to do the last two, she is an idiot if she doesn't think she can have a career post Harry Potter.

If they changed any of the three leads it would be so nonsensical. I am angry!

it's probably just PR speak for "I want more money".

anyway, hasn't it already been confirmed that one of the trio will die in the last installment? maybe she's just found out who :whistling:

Well, being a magical set series, they could easily recast her. Perhaps with someone who can act :whistling:

A glamour that went wrong and became permanent?

A simple rewrite that wouldn't affect the main plot at all.

bang on, she wants more money...whether they pay her is another story, playing this game can be bad quite a few actors have been replaced. And recently the actor who played Nick Stokes and the woman who plays Sarah Sidle in CSI tried it on and were nearly dropped from the series, but then were let back, I think one of them said they had 'overslept' on the day filming had began and had meant to show up!

Hmmm. :ponder:

At least the Ron and Harry actors have been in other films - I can`t think of anything else that Hermione has been in.

If this is her only acting job, I can`t see that looking for more money is a great move.
