A bit of fluff but an enjoyable bit of fluff, at least :)
The first 10 or 15 minutes is pretty funny, especially with the various plots to get Picard to take a vacation (Bev's method was surprisingly remiscent of that used by Spock on Kirk in Shore Leave  ), and the subsequent scene where he's by the pool trying to read his book (isn't the woman playing hoverball the same woman who played Bashir's great grandmother in the turbolift scene in Trials & Tribble-ations?).
After that it all becomes fairly standard. I'm taking it that Risa doesn't have any transporters that they had to hike all the way there. The romance between Picard and Vash is wholly predictable, but I guess even he's allowed to take leave of his senses every once in a while (would Picard really fall for a woman so devious and dishonest? :ponder: ). It's also tough to believe that he wouldn't immediately question the validity of the time-travelling aliens' claim - only Vash's prompting gets him to demand proof of what they say.
Still good fun, though :)

Tsk tsk, James. The correct answer was "Why on earth would we go to sleep in the first place?" :naughty:

Just being realistic Steve, Vash looks like a handful!

Hmmm :ermm:
Not anything to write home about this one. As Steve says the opening where the crew are trying to manoeuver Picard in to taking shore leave is quite funny but other than that the ep is a bit  and just drifts along without much happening.
Was amused to see 'Rom' turning up though
