In the aftermath of Zod's activities, Clark develops a new power. Lois gets a new job, Lana takes a new step in her relationship with Lex, and Lex has to deal with a new danger. Meanwhile, an old friend of Lex's arrives in Metropolis. |

Yay, new power time
Found this one very amusing for the most part (the other part being Lana back to her old annoying ways  ). Loved the arrival of Lois Lane, investigative reporter - and her lack of spelling ability ("It's just a little typo" ), and the bit where the barn door nearly landed on her - although I confess that may have been something to do with her attire and the sheen of sweat... :ph43r:
The look on Chloe's face when she leaned on the door and it fell over cracked me up for some reason  Is it me or is Miss Sullivan getting prettier each season? :ph43r:
Loved Clark blowing the clouds away, too
Sooo, the Green Arrow, hmmm :ponder:

Green Arrow has arrived :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
Not exactly like his comic book counterpart (yet) They've got the billionaire aspect right, but still no sign of the comic book Arrows socialist sensibilities, maybe they'll develop
Just one question.... How many bullet holes has Lex got in him now? That's got to be at least a dozen, he gets shot at least once a season   They really should aim to the left a bit, and shoot Lana :ph43r: I mean, how thick is she?
"I'm sorry Lana, I'll take the security/peeping tom camera out of your bedroom within the hour. But the two in your bathroom stay."
"Oh, OK Lex. I believe you. I trust you. You're sure you can't remember trying to take over/destroy the world?"
"I did that?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot your convenient amnesia."
"Who are you?"

You should apply to become one of their scriptwriters, Jamie

Wow. I learn new things every day
Thanks for the compliment.
Or at least, I think it was a compliment

I loved Chloe's reaction to Clark's super powered sneezes   And then the look on her face as she was trying to get him to use his new power to blown down the door, pure mischief
I'm with you lot, somebody kill Lana already

Lana dead before the opening credits, and then 40+ minutes of Tom Welling wandering around without his shirt on ;)

Indeed 'tis not just you
Completely agree with the Lana killing, sooner rather than later please, and preferably as horribly as possible
jamiearmour - October 9, 2006 04:30 PM (GMT)
Clark. "Oh My God. Lana's dead."
Lois. "Oh the humanity."
Clark. "So, you wanna catch a movie?"
Lois. "I still kinda don't like you Clark."
Clark. "That'll change."
Lois. "Not till you look like Christopher Reeve, or at least Brandon Routh."
"Fair enough!"
"What are we gonna do about Lana's body?"
"Who? Oh her? Leave her, it's the best acting she's done in years"
Fade to opening titles.

My favourite death scene recently was the guy falling backwards and getting impaled on the table leg in the pilot of The 4400
I think that's too good for her, though :ponder:

They should go with the 'Groundhog Day' angle and have Clark reliving the same day over and over again. Lana could die every single time..... :shifty:

Didn't they already try that
And the silly sod went and spoiled it by saving her
I'm all for dropping her into the gears of a combine harvester
In the words of Frank Drebin "that's the way for a man to die", so it'll do just fine for her :ph43r:

Nice idea there, instead though, cos they'll never write the harpy out of the show, they should kill her every week like Kenny!

Don't you mean Lexcorp? Or Lexlabs? Or whatever their Spaceborne division is called thesedays?
Or how about.... A Waynetech satellite? The Bruce could appear and give Clark a good slapping around as well :ph43r:

Wasn't there a rumour at one point that young Bruce Wayne was going to make an appearance?

wasn't it a rumour about a superman vs batman film ?
willowroolz - October 11, 2006 09:40 AM (GMT)
No, I believe it was a rumour to do with Bruce Wayne appearing in Smallville as a lead in to a potential new Batman series, iirc, but then Batman Begins came along :ponder:
Edit: A quick Google on "Smallville Bruce Wayne rumour" brings up loads of speculation, and
this interview with Al Gough from 2004, where he's asked about it towards the end of the interview :)

With the 'Justice League' stuff kicking off you'd have thought Bruce Wayne would turn up at some point, but after Batman Begins I really wouldn't hold my breath.
