Title: Flotsam And Jetsam.

jamiearmour - August 17, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
According to ImDb, that's the title for the first episode of Torchwood.

I wonder what/who will be getting "washed up"?

Did I hear someone say Jack?

Hmm, your probably right

Laura - August 17, 2006 09:16 PM (GMT)
Does that indicate the possibility of Jack being wet? :shifty:

The title was confirmed in DWM a month ago, along with episode 2's title of 'New Girl', and some titles for a few later episodes :)

Ah well, proof, if it were needed, that I don't buy DWM anymore. It got a little overpriced for the content

Says the man who spends more money on Comics each week than is technically healthy :o

Well the story behind the name of Torchwood, was when they were transporting the tapes of Doctor Who: Season 1 (Eccelston) from Cardiff to Television Centre or wherever they needed to go they were labelled TORCHWOOD instead of DOCTOR WHO. To stop people from stealing, watching etc. Thats why it was an anagram.

I dont read newspapers either, but there are plenty of folk that do.....add to that free papers, magazines, and online TV guides.....not to mention the built in SKY, NTL etc ones. I just thought that the old TVTimes and Radio Times would have died due to the competition.........guess not....
