ImDb are reporting the rumour that Matt Damon is in serious contention to play Kirk in the upcoming 11th movie.

Not sure I like the idea much :fear:

Agree with Phillip. IMDB have had Damon slated as Kirk for a few weeks at least now. If there were any real truth to it beyond pure speculation then I'd expect there to be far more sources spouting it.

I realy don't like the idea of recasting Kirk at all, so Damon or anyone else, I'd be disappointed with in the role.
