What a load of Ba'als
OK, the puns wore thin pretty quickly in this one, but overall it was a pretty good ep. It took a while to get started, but when it did, and all the Ba'als got loose, it was SG1: the good old days. With maniacal Goaulds running about the place
Vala is continuing to be a great asset to the show, her "interrogation" technique was hilarious.
One question though. What happened to their spangly new doctor from last year? Did Landry have his daughter reassigned elsewhere, to prevent anyone from thinking they were watching andromeda?

Well she had the baby around the first week of filming so I wouldn't expect her to appear until the season - don't know if they are going to try to explain her absence.
Michael has got a few episodes off too.
No closer to the weapon then :ermm:

To be fair though, just how often did Frasier appear in the series? Were Dr Lam a regular credited cast member who took several weeks off (like Amanda Tapping last year) then I could understand it, but surely this is just a stretch of episodes that conveniently haven't needed the CMO of the SGC.....

Well that was fun - just as Jamie said it felt a lot like 'old school' SG-1, back to a time before we had Ori, Atlantis and the series was all about Earth vs the Goa'uld, with lots of guns and shooting :)
However I was concerned no-one wonder how easy it was to get the clones - back in the past the System Lods would be so much harder to detain - usually while the SG teams were shooting the Jaffa cannon-fodder, the System Lord would beam away to a convenient mother ship. While this was Ba'als plan all along, shouldn't someone have said 'wait a minute - this is too easy'?

It was a little too obvious, they just didn't come up with a good enough reason to round them all up I suppose.
