Odd one this. I thought it was quite an original idea, but the episode seemed a bit stupid. Should have been funnier somehow. Some good performances though. Personally, I find the acting a bit crap in SGA, but it wasn't bad this week.
Not great, but more than made up for by this weeks SG1.

It was silly fun, it would have been funnier if all the cast had been as funny as Rodney and Beckett who were both hilarious.
Usually this kind of episode is used as a budget ep later in the season and not put in so early on? I guess they couldn't keep up the same level as the first couple.

Maybe that means they are saving up for something special?

Hopefully for more cross-overs

Not too impressed with this one - while SG-1's comedy episodes usually w**k, this one failed like 'Urgo' (probably cause the protagonist was so damned annoying! :))
And are they turning Beckett into Atlantis' fool? Last week he wants to be left on the planet of the Wraith, and this week he's the one who falls for Lucius (and wasn't there someone else with this name on SG-1 recently?)...
Still, at least the SG-1 episode this week made up for it :)

Good call with 'Urgo'. That was exactly what it was like. Good idea done too annoyingly.
As for Beckett, he was also the first to break free of Lucius's influence, so kudos to him for that.

I really enjoyed the silliness of this ep, just because it was so funny. It thought it was great as a one off as long as they don't make a habit of it. Beckett was fantastic in this ep, because he doesn't usually get to do much.
I can see the similarities to Urgo, but i haven't seen Urgo in such a long time, i'd say Irresistible was better.
Ems :)
