*SPOILERS*
A bit mixed this ep. I like the way it followed on from last weeks episode. I was expecting them to spend the episode keeping the humanized wraith on the hive from reverting, while they tried to get home. I like the way they bypassed this plot entirely, and started with the hive getting home.
This humanizing plague really has thrown up a lot of moral questions for the Lanteans. They should have seen these coming really. I wish they'd explore some of the morality a bit, as sometimes it feels a bit glossed over. To be honest, I don't really know why they keep them all alive. I was surprised they used it on Michael again, when he would have been much better as an ally.
Talking of which, it would be nice if one of the characters would be nice to Woolsey for a change. He seems like a decent bloke.

I have to admit I fell asleep during this one (although I hope this was more down to a lack of sleep rather than the episode itself).
However I was struck by how stupid the Altantis team were - we know from past experience with Michael that the Wraith don't really like this whole 'reverting to humans' mallarkey, so if they have to do it again, why the hell do they hang around on the planet to see it all go wrong and then have to mount a rescue mission for Beckett? Cold-hearted as it seems, I would have just spaced them, or just dumped them on the planet, detonated the nuke and ran. These people are planning to fly to Earth and devour 6 billion people, so 200 enemy soldiers is a small price to pay...
And I have to agree about Woolsey. Perhaps it's cause I like Robert Picardo, but he has moved on from the unpleasant character he was back in Season 7. Hopefully now he's tweaked his report to make sure Weir will stay on Atlantis he'll be treated a little better :)

I'm the same. I like the character because I like Robert Picardo. We know he is a talented actor. He was the only good thing in voyager (hang on, there were a couple of other things I liked :) ). Even in season 7 he was a decent sort, just on the wrong side. I wish he would become the SGC's man on the IOA (by the way, how does IOA stand for International Oversight Commitee?).
I don't really have a problem with them spacing the humanized wraith. If the treatment was permant, then fair enough, give them human rights, but as it is, they are an enemy waiting to happen. As you say, sometimes, the atlanteans just seem a bit stupid.
If these wraith escaped (and lets face it, they did), then won't they all have the same acceptance problems as Michael?

In the first instance didn't it stand for International Oversight Advisory Committee?
Still doesn't equate to the IOA though
Agree on Woolsey, decent character, and despite the fact that my opinion is swayed by my liking of his Voyager character, his SG1 one is often treated harshly. You get the impression that Woolsey is often caught as 'piggy in the middle'.
Agree about the Wraith as well. As soon as they mentioned reverting them I was saying to Vic that they'd be better off just lining them up against a wall.
Other than that, a distinctly so-so episode IMO.

I actually enjoyed this episode, moreso than this weeks SG1 (that's the first time since Atlantis began that that's ever happened)
I did feel the moral bind that Carson was in, I could so empathise with his viewpoint, but that could just have been empathy for a fellow Scotsman clouding my judgement. But I could also see the rationale behind the decision to kill the reverted Wraith.
As to Woolsey? I'm loving the character more and more with each episode he's in. He's more than happy to lie (ahem) bend the truth, for his superiors on the IOA (no, I don't get the accronym either) so maybe he is the SGC's man on the inside.
I hope that wasn't the last we see of Michael, an interesting character, with loads of room for development (at least, more than poor Connor got in his last TV role) so I'd be glad to see him turn up later in the season.
