Hippy - June 27, 2006 01:55 PM (GMT)
Hellfire, young Timmy is doing alright :o

1 set all and a break up in the third

goth willow fan - June 27, 2006 01:57 PM (GMT)
Don't worry, give it time.

It's usually end of the 3rd that everything goes tits up

willowroolz - June 27, 2006 01:58 PM (GMT)
I've never heard of Soderling

Yeah, I feel sorry for this Erling person

Hippy - June 27, 2006 02:00 PM (GMT)
Think he's Swedish

Bill The Bloodless - June 27, 2006 02:45 PM (GMT)
Oh dear Henman's having a hiccup, 4-1 down in the fourth.

willowroolz - June 27, 2006 02:46 PM (GMT)
See, we never beat the Swedes <_<

Outta Sight - June 27, 2006 02:57 PM (GMT)
Sod Henman, Agassi's droppped his first set 6-2 :tear:

Probably because they won't allow him to use his walking stick on the court. ;)

Assuming it's sunny up there he should use the advantage of being a slaphead to reflect the sun in to his opponents eyes :ph43r:

<Puts fingers in ears>

La, la, la, I'm not listening :snooty:

Outta Sight - June 27, 2006 03:23 PM (GMT)
Ha, boo sucks to all of you, he's pulled back the second set

goth willow fan - June 27, 2006 03:32 PM (GMT)
Timbo's survived a five setter

Outta Sight - June 27, 2006 03:37 PM (GMT)

I'm assuming that's a metaphorical looking good :whistling:

Personally I'm looking forward to seeing Martina Hingis. Always liked her

And go Timmy

Well, I think he's still very attractive :snooty: And his tennis has been some of the best over the years  Yay, third set taken

Joking aside, I like watching Agassi play but obviously tend to watch more for the tennis than any of his other 'attributes' :)

FEDERER Swi 1 beat R Gasquet Fr
6-3 6-2 6-2

:tear:

Outta Sight - June 28, 2006 08:27 AM (GMT)
Yay, Agassi pulled it all back in the end  He always does this  For some reason he always has a really dodgy set where he looks like he's losing it completely and then goes on to piss all over the other guy  I swear he does it just to elevate my blood pressure :lmao:

All the big boys (if you'll excuse the expression) seem to have got through although I was surprised to see Jamie Delgado won his match :o Doesn't he usually go out in the first round? Still, good to have another Brit to watch out for

Outta Sight - June 28, 2006 02:33 PM (GMT)
Ooooooooh, Andy Roddick is losing  But Leyton Hewitt is pissing all over his guy

Hippy - June 28, 2006 02:35 PM (GMT)

What's with all the weeing :o

I'm waiting to see how Tim does. Weirdly he might have a chance given it's early in the tournement and no one expects him to win so all the pressure's on Federer :ponder:

Sorry

It was a phrase a friend used to use a lot at uni and it's kinda stuck over the years. I'm so ladylike :lmao:

Yes, that one could be an interesting match :ponder:

Kim Clijsters (BEL)[2] def Viktoria Kutuzova (UKR) Walkover

What, exactly, is a walkover. Obviously, I know it's everyday use but I don't think I've ever seen it as a tennis result before

goth willow fan - June 28, 2006 03:33 PM (GMT)
Means the other player didn't turn up.

Bill The Bloodless - June 28, 2006 03:44 PM (GMT)
Come on Tim!

Don't think he's got much of chance but hopefully he'll give Federer a bit of a game.

Michelle - June 28, 2006 04:32 PM (GMT)
It's at this point that I think "will the Henman - Federer match still be running when I get home in 40 mins time so I can watch some of it?".

willowroolz - June 28, 2006 04:49 PM (GMT)
You'll need to move quickly Michelle! ;)

prophecy girl - June 28, 2006 05:25 PM (GMT)
that was fast  ........... was it the last ever wimbledon for henman?

goth willow fan - June 28, 2006 05:34 PM (GMT)
Got home just in time to see the final point.

Outta Sight - June 29, 2006 08:31 AM (GMT)
I missed it completely :o I thought I'd get home, watch The O.C. finale then switch over to catch the latter part of the match. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't find it on any of the channels until I checked teletext and discovered it was all over

I don't think there's any doubt that Federer's going to win the tournament

It does seem that way, he is just too good atm. I'd hoped Henman would've put up more of a fight but after the first set Federer was just different class.

Also Nadal's a set and 4-1 down to a qualifier.

Well the old fellas through. ;)

And Nadal has won the 3rd set on a tie-break.
