The only obstacle remaining between Sheridan and Earth is a fleet near Mars. With the help of the resistance, Sheridan plans to smuggle Shadow modified telepaths onto the fleet, hopefully disabling it long enough from him to take Earth. Meanwhile, Marcus is determined to find a way to help Ivanova.

Brilliant from start to finish

The shot of the Agamemnon flying through the explosion is wonderfully memorable (I'm glad they used it in the season 5 credits) :)

The shots of the female telepath actually scare me :fear:

I'm kind of disappointed about Clark's demise. Don't get me wrong, it works, but I would've like to have seen him brought to justice and made answerable for his actions. Seems like the bad guys always get killed in a one-on-one with the hero or commit suicide

And yay for ISN, back on the air

The end is heartbreaking :tear:

Great episode with loads going on. Brilliant space battle, clever use of the telepaths and then, after much joy, comes Marcus's attempt to cure Susan. I'd forgotten about the episode where that alien equipment came into play so I didn't realise til the end that to save Susan he'd probably have to sacrifice his life. :tear:

Did I miss something about Clark? Why were those people going to arrest him anyway? And did he just commit suicide because he thought they'd lose the space battle or because he knew about the people coming to arrest him?

So, with 2 episodes left, I'm wondering how they're going to fill them up what with having most things resolved already. Apart from whether Susan & Marcus live or die and perhaps some sort of Garibaldi revenge on Bester perhaps...

The people trying to arrest Clark were those that had previously been unable to oppose his rule. Clark was backed by the military, it wasn't until that support had been largely neutralised by Sheridan around Mars that they could make their move. As soon as Sheridan's fleet came into Earth orbit and he made his speech that now was the time to act, they did, moving to arrest/impeach him.

Clark, hearing the same speech from Sheridan obviously realised that chances of the defence platforms being able to stop Sheridan's fleet was small, and given that his military support was also gone, he'd lost.

Great episode this one. The reason JMS decided to opt out and go for the relatively non-violent end to the Vorlon/Shadow war was because he knew the Earth civil war ended violently and he didn't want to conclude the two threads in the same way.
