What did everyone think to this as a movie, its eventual sequels an the tv series that was spawned from it?

I thought the original movie was excellent, original and well acted and directed, the following couple of sequels were both very poor by comparrison and the last one END GAME (which I bought) is a jumbled mess. It is a good idea and a way of writing Christopher Lambert out of the series but other than that is seems very disjointed.

The series I thought was very hit and miss. My exwife loved it because she fancied the lead actor (Adrian Paul) but I thought the episodes set in the US on the whole were better than the french ones and even those deteriorated in quality as the seasons progressed.

What did everyone else think to it?

I loved the first film. It helps to like Queen during that era. It was a good story and Christopher Lambert definately helped.

I saw the 2nd film and it was so rubbish that I gave up on anything else connected to Highlander. Actually I think that 1st film deserves a rewatch. :D

I loved the first film, the second had some good ideas, but the end result was a bit of a waste, I haven't seen futher, nor the series :)

I loved the original film, but have never seen either of the sequals or the series.
