Title: Neil Gaiman's 1602

I was in the local Ottakers the other day and and had a nosey at this. It completely intrigued me, and I'm sorely tempted to buy.

Has anyone else read it, and what did they think?

It's an interesting enough read. Not exactly Mr Gaimans best, but he does try.

The art is sumptueous, and some of the versions of classic characters in the settings of the year 1602 are brilliantly done, especially Peter Parquah as the Spider Man.

I bough the original editions, but I would reccomend the book to people who like things they think they know, to be turned on their heads. :yahoo:

Sounds good to me, and certainly worth shelling out some bright shiny coins on that one!

Lol at Peter Parquar!

Treated myself to it yesterday, and so far, thoroughly enjoying it. Good fun.

Finished it a couple of days back, and would recommend it to anyone with even the slightest interest in the Marvel universe.
