Buffy: Original Sinner. Part 4
“So here’s the story so far, point one. We’ve beaten the original, first evil. We’ve kicked the Powers that be back into touch, 3. We’ve averted more apocalypses than anyone else in the history of the world ever. 4. We’re royally screwed.”
“That pretty much sums it all up, yeah.”
“Willow’s been taken by, well, something. Something that can feed off magicks, and so she’d be like an all you can eat meal for it. This is something new, that has never been documented ever, in the history of the Universe ever…”
“In this Universe ever.”
“Thanks Giles for that correction.” The figure continued, “So what are we gonna do?” Buffy stared at the faces of her friends, all filled with a mixture of concern, pain and fear.
“We find what took her, then we kill it, then we kill it again, just to be sure.” Faith’s words, though light-hearted carried seriousness that nobody would dare question.
“I’m all for that plan.” Willow’s lover Tara spoke up. “Hunt it, find it, and kill it. Works for me.”
“Okay then,” Buffy replied, “So how do we go about this then? We need to find it, and we need to find out how to kill it. Any of the brains trust got any clues whatsoever?” She turned to Giles and Andrew. The looks on their faces told the assembled group that no plans were afoot and that no clues were immediately forthcoming. “Right then, research mode it is. I want names, and ways to kill everything and anything we know of that eats magic. Demons, Gods, legends, you name it, I want it.” Buffy’s galvanising statement rolled the entire group into movement, friends, family and Anya all headed to the book shelves of the library, picking at any tomes that might contain the information required.
The Dark Place.
“Miss Rosenberg!” The echoing voice came from close by, Willow was almost tempted to reach out to grab the source, but thought better of it, and she preferred having her hands still attached to her arms. “May I call you Willow? Of course I may, you are my, ahem, guest, we are friends, and we are of a kind you and I.”
“I’m nothing like you.” Willow retorted, her voice too echoing, making her suspect that this dark place was far bigger than she had first guessed.
“We are of a kind Willow, you have the power to destroy worlds. I have the will to destroy worlds. We were made for each other.” The voice laughed, an evil, dark laugh that chilled Willow to the core of her being.
The Academy.
“Why do you insist on calling yourself Liam again after all this time? It’s a bit of a ponce’s name? Then again, yeah, it suits you.”
“It is my birth name. Given to me by my parents, it is all I have left of them.”
“That’s your own fault though; you’re the one that ate your daddy.”
Liam flew across the room and landed heavily on top of Spike, pinning him to the floor. “I did not kill my father; he was murdered by one of you. That bitch Darla, may she rot in whichever hell she ended up in.”
“You’ve bloody lost it mate.” Spike’s fist connected with Liam’s jaw, Spike saw him wince in, genuinely pained by the punch. “Hold it. I’ve punched you harder than that in the past and you’ve barely blinked. Who the hell are you?” Spike transformed his face to its full vampiric visage and threw Liam from him. “I said,” Spike roared, “Who the hell are you?”
“I’m not from Hell creature. I am sent from heaven above to bring peace to this world, this world that is so full of sin, so full of creatures like you. It must be cleansed, by fire if needs be.” Liam’s hand flew to his pocket and drew something form its confines. A bottle smashed over Spike’s head. Spike knew as soon as the bottle appeared, what it had contained, but he carried on, determined not to let Liam get away, despite the searing pain caused by the glass and the holy water, the smell of his own flesh bubbling and smoking. “Die Hell spawn.” Liam shouted, as Spike finally grabbed hold of him, and he struggled against the vampire.
“We’re going to make you whole again Daddy dearest.” The woman who had identified herself as Drusilla circled the figure hunched on the ground. “They hurt you in so many, many ways Daddy, they must be punished. The stars tell us it is so, dancing, singing in my head, songs of pain and vengeance, a dirge for the damned.” She laughed and spun around the figure on the ground, his confusion increasing with each passing moment.
“Just who are you, and why are you calling me Daddy? I am surely not your father, I cannot remember much, but I am sure I would remember my own flesh and blood.”
“Oh Daddy, I’m not of your flesh, but I am most certainly of your blood. You made me what I am today, you nurtured me, taught me the ways, you spun my head with tales of darkness, you showed me pain in so many ways. I love you like a father, and you treated me like your daughter, you only spanked me when I deserved it, and I was such a naughty girl. “The woman gyrated on the spot, in front of her “fathers” eyes. Playfully spanking herself on the bottom as she danced. “Naughty, naughty Drusilla, naughty girl. Got to be spanked, teach to you be a good girl. Now,” She stopped her dance, “Now though, it’s you who has to be spanked Daddy dear. You’ve forgotten all of the wonderful things you taught me, so now I must reteach you, all of the wonders of agony, all the pleasures of pain. All of the lust for blood.” He recoiled as her face changed, into a visage of purest evil; she slapped him on the jaw, sending the unprepared man onto his back on the ground. She pounced on top of him, straddling him. “You must be taught” She punched him, and again, and again. She paused to look at the blood on her knuckles, his blood. She brought her hand to her mouth and lapped up the fluid from her fingers. “Still too sweet, soon be a bitter brew again.” Her assault restarted, the figure of the man screamed.

There will be Claire, it's just taking a bit (should read much) longer than I expected I've got a bit of a block in regards to the Buffyverse right now :tear:
