Title: Wolfram & Hart  Employees?

buffy_fan1 - April 20, 2006 09:38 AM (GMT)
I know this will be a very stupid question sorry to bore everyone but I'm still learning about Angel. Does every employee of Wolfram & Hart have to sell their souls and hence are evil?

lyndsey didn't sell his soul or did he? :ponder:

lee was trying to move to an other law firm .....

maybe once lylah was in charge of the special project (position with responsibility), she had to sign a contract selling her soul

:ermm: now what part in the contract make the employees turn into zombies in case of lock down (habeas corpus) :ponder:

Well iirc in "To Shanshu in L.A." did Wes mention something about Lindsey selling his soul but I don't know if he meant in the literal sense? :ponder:

As for the zombies thing I would put past the senior partners to not tell them the whole story. :ponder:

Cordy:  "Hey guys?  Remember born-again lawyer-boy who wanted out of Wolfram & Hart so bad?"
Angel:  "Lindsey?"
Cordy:  "They just promoted him - junior partner."
Wesley:  "After all you did for him - he sells his soul for thirty pieces of silver."
Cordy:  "Actually he sold it for a six-figure salary and a full benefits package."
Wesley:  "It's disappointing.  He had an opportunity to change."

maybe that's the difference between average lawyer (lee) and lyndsey/lylah  (but lyndsay left the firm a little too easily even for a "evil hand" reason)

I would say that they are all evil just some are willing to go further than others.

lylah: i am a lawyer, i just don't care about the law

I spent an amazing day on Saturday watching a 12 hour marathon production of Shakespeare's Wars of the Roses- after more than 400 years, the audience cheer for the rebel rallying cry 'first thing I'll do- kill all the lawyers' would have made the birthday boy very happy, and spooked any actual lawyers within earshot... : And he didnt just mean evil lawyers either. Sleepy now...

Wesley: (re: W&H) They can't really be trusted.

Darla: I don't trust them. But I know a thing or two about mind games. (To Angel) And so do you. We played them together for over a century.

Cordelia: Yes, but you were just souless bloodsucking demons. They're lawyers.
Angel: She's right. We were amateurs.

(the trial)

At the Inns of Court in London (holding pen for the most expensive barristers) there's a fountain with a statue of a little boy and the inscription 'Lawyers were children once'. Given Wolfrom and Hart, I have some doubts.... :whistling:

lyndsay has been young once  :ermm: we know why allan had expectation for him but what about lylah :ponder:

DEEPLY unconvincing in pigtails, I thought :naughty:
But she has a mother, so benefit of the doubt, I suppose.

prophecy girl - April 26, 2006 09:59 AM (GMT)
lylah: my mother was right, i should have had kids
