Stardate: Unknown Bashir works around the clock to find a cure for the Founder's disease. Kira makes plans to steal Breen technology that would make the Federation ships immune to Breen/Dominion weaponry. Damar learns that his family was killed by the Dominion. Worf challenges Gowron's corrupt leadership of the Klingon Empire, which results in Gowron's death. Bashir and O'Brien plot to capture a member of Section 31 who may hold the cure for Odo's illness.
As with most of the eps leading up to the series finale there's a lot going on.
The Damar sub plot further develops his character and goes further in highlighting Garaks change of views from committed Obsidian order agent to political revolutionary (sort of anyway). Fairly predictable that they were going to get the ship but enjoyable nonetheless.
On the Klingon side of things I liked Ezri's matter of fact opinion on the Klingon Empire and Worf realising he is the only one who will challenge Gowron. Unfortunately the fight always p*sses me off and watching this time was no exception. At no stage of the series has Gowron been shown to be a skilled warrior, and only an ep or so ago was being described as a politician and not a warrior. In previous fights between Worf and Gowron, Worf wins without breaking a sweat and I can't see why anything else would have happened this time. Except of course Gowron had to go out with a bang so they have him throwing Worf about and Worf only winning with a sneaky little stab to the gut. Pees me off when writers do that <_<
On a positive note nice to see more interplay between O'Brien and Bashir which nicely sets the scene for the next episode :)
