It seems that many tv shows and movies are succesfully making the jump from moving pictures to coloured pictures. Here's just a few for you to look out for.....

Family guy.
QUOTE
The Griffins have made a deal with the Devil, and now they're on their way to a comic shop near you.  Look for Family Guy Vol 1: 100 ways to kill Lois by Stewie Griffin, to hit in April, from Devil's due publications.  Written by Matt Fleckenstein, one of the shows writers, each of the three 48 page books shines the spotlight on one member of the uber-dysfunctional Griffin family, with a mix of sequential stories and pages of advice from the character.  Stewie, the matricide obsessed toddler, takes centre stage in issue one.

Gargoyles. (Yep, that's right, they're back)
QUOTE
Wanna know what happened to teh cult-favourite Gargoyles characters after their animated series was cancelled at teh end of it's second season in 1996?  Well, thatnks to the Slave Labor/Disney partnership, look no further than the all new Gargoyles ongoing series launching in June.  Gargoyles creator Greg Weisman has signed on as writer, and after being deeply involbed with the Gargoyles fandom for the last decade, he's itching to pick up the saga where he left off.  The populace of New York, if not the world, now knows that the Gargoyles really exist, plus the clock tower where the Gargoyles lived was blown up at the end of the second series, and the Gargoyles were invited back to the castle owned by David Sanatos, who up until this point as been one of their main adversaries, so they're now sort of sleeping with the enemy so to speak.

Buckaroo Banzai.
QUOTE
Picking up where the3 1984 cult classic movie left off, Buckaroo Banzai- top neurosurgeon, rock star and comic book hero- battles dastardly aliens alongside his rock band, the Hong Kong Cavaliers, in this new series.  Tis aint no measly adaptation: The April shipping first issue of the all-new mini series, "return of the screw" is written by Banzai creator Mac Rauch.  Heed the call, Blue Blaze Irregulars, This is one adventure you don't want to pass up.

Highlander.
QUOTE
Thanks to Dynamite Entertainment, Connor MacLeod again takes up the sword for more decapitating action.  Dynamite president Nick Barucci promises, "we're starting off where the first movie and the events that happened five seconds after the end."  More action and soul stealing are on the pike later this year.

So it looks like small press is the place to go if you're show's been cancelled or your movie is just waiting for a decent DVD release
