Title: V Festival

Morrissey and Radiohead are the headliners - wouldn't mind seeing both of them as the latter almost revert to being a "proper" band live but the rest of the lineup looks uninspiring.
DetailsCharlatans and The Magic Numbers would be good but I'm not at all interested in Faithless, Fatboy Slim or The Sugar Babes.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am but I think I'll just see how the rest of the line up pans out and maybe get one off a tout on the day(s) if I fancy it.

I'd love to see Radiohead, Faithless, Fatboy Slim & Bloc Party. But Muse are apparently headlining Reading this year and I'd see them above anyone else, so I'll probably go there.

I'm definitely going to Reading - April the 3rd is lineup announcement date with the tickets on sale "straight afterwards".

Yeah, I know.. very excited! But Muse are "pretty much confirmed" already... or so I've read. Pearl Jam & Franz Ferdinand are reportedly the other headliners. Just no official announcement yet. I'm pretty sure I'll get a weekend ticket, as all my friends are going, but it does depend a bit on the price <_</how many bands I actually want to see.

Weekend tickets will be about £130 whereas day tickets go for about £65 so unless you're only going for one day its not worth not getting a weekender.

I'm definitely gonna go to Reading again this year, but I'm not that impressed by the rumoured line up so far. Ah well, it'll be great anyway just cause of the atmosphere, and I'm sure there'll be some good bands on the other stages.

I had an enthusiasm crisis yesterday which I may regret later. I spoke to a lad at w**k on Friday who'd tried to get weekend tickets for V but ended up getting 2 day ones which are obviously more expensive. Another girl failed altogether as they sold out in 2 hours or whatever.
Yesterday I went shopping and parked next to the civic centre in Chelmsford where they were selling some tickets. There was quite a long queue when I walked past and it looked like a few people at the front had been there very early if not overnight (seats, blankets etc).
When I returned a couple of hours later there was still a queue but only of about 20 people and I thought about joining it but decided I couldn't be arsed. Thinking about it last night I think I should have bothered. Oh well.
