A lot of the shows on the boards have a "last ep you watched" post on here, and as i'm bored i thought i'd start one for Stargate and Atlantis.
Sorry for copying the idea to whoever started it.

SG-1 The Scourge (9x17) and Moebius 1 (8x19)

I won't discuss the S9/S2 eps, so i don't spoil anyone, although i think the majority of people on these boards are watching S9/S2 at the moment.

Moebius 1 was very funny and i thought AT was great with her alternate Carter, you could see the difference. Loved the video thing, especially Jack's knowledge about the future the football times and "there are no fish in my pond"

I've been watching some Season 4 on sky, 407 Watergate with Marina Sirtis - Ok, 408 The first ones, not exactly original but enjoyable :) , 409 Scorched Earth, 410 Beneath the Surface, 411 Point of No return & 412 Tangent :)

I'm really tempted to dig out my DVD with those episodes on now. Watergate and Scorched Earth are fantastic episodes :thumbsup:

Would you recommend S4 on DVD? I've been thinking about getting it, cos it's my fave season. Does it have any extras, or just the episodes?

There are afair few extras - IIRC Season 4 is the season where each disc has a 'Secrets of the SGC' extra, where specially filmed footage of Don S Davis and Teryl Rothery introducing various clips, each one covering a different theme. Also I believe the final disc has various gubbins related to the 5th season and in particulat the 100th episode....

Plus all episodes have commentaries, which for all 22 episodes is rather good!

And this weekend we've finally got round to Atlantis Season 2 - up to Critical Mass so far, and on the whole it's been much better than the previous season and (dare I say it), much better than the frankly disappointing Season 9 of SG-1....

I haven't found SG1 S9 to be that disappointing, I've actually liked the Ori arc, it makes a bit of a change from the usual Goa'uld/Replicators. I've also thought that Ben Browder's been a pretty good addition to the cast, so much so that for me RDA's not really missed to any great degree.

That being said I too feel that Atlantis has edged out SG1 this year.

I'm currently watching season four being shown at the weekend on Sky One, also season nine of Stargate plus season two of Stargate Atlantis.

While I agree Ben Browder has replaced Richard Dean Anderson perfectly I have felt this 9th season to be completely underwhelming. Generally speaking the episodes have been extremely dull.

Stargate Atlantas has been much better on the whole but I have felt that the last six episodes have been quite poor. Last week's episode was better but was still left lacking.

The last episodes of Stargate I watched this week include beneath the surface, scorched earth and first ones.

Actually, my problems with Season 9 probably deserve a thread of their own... I'll see about getting it going once shortly :)

I have to agree that S9 has not been up to the usual SG-1 standard, as normal you get some great eps, some good eps, and some bad eps; but there seems to be something missing this season and it's not just RDA, cos Ben Browder is great, he seems to fit in really well, although he doesn't make up fully for the lack of Jack. I also agree that Atlantis is better this year, even if it has taken some ideas from SG-1 eps.

I hope this post isn't spoiling S9 for anyone, please say if you aren't watching the current season on Sky One, and i'll give spoiler warnings, i have a feeling most of the people on here are watching or downloading S9, just wanted to make sure i'm not leaving anyone out.
