This is a fan art version of the other picture, but it looks damn cool if you ask me.

Now thats nice!

The other isn't really spidey in his black suit, it's a monochrome (though not black and white) pick of him in the normal web design suit.

I wonder if they have delibrately make it look black to stir up even more rumors about the next villians (the suit could be actually black or it could be dark in which case it looks black). Could it be Venom? Sandman? Probably but I've never been a fan of mutiple villian movies as there is too much content and backstory to fufill my expectations. (even worse is some of the combinations Posion Ivy and Mr. Freeze anyone and why would Catwoman want to hang around Penguin?)

But I couldn't even rule out the Hobgoblin making an appearance in this film or the next either...but isn't this the last one with Tobey Maguire?

SPIDER-MAN 3 teaser coming at us faster than a speeding bullet??

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some interesting rumors for ya'. I've gotten contacted by many spies within the theatrical exhibition world claiming they've received lists of trailers to play in front of SUPERMAN RETURNS here in a couple weeks. On that list is SPIDER-MAN 3, which will be "in the can, but not attached." No run time was mentioned in this list.

This has been confirmed by different sources. I'm now thinking that perhaps all that LA shooting from last November might have been part of a teaser campaign, possibly like the ill-fated TWIN TOWERS teaser for the first SPIDER-MAN film, itself a brilliant teaser pulled from view because of the events of 9/11 some 2 weeks or so after the trailer was launched. For those who didn't see it, the trailer had a bank robbery in progress... shot totally like a heist movie. The robbers get to the roof, get in a chopper and fly away, a clean escape. Suddenly the chopper lurches and is pulled backwards, rotors spinning, engine whirring, emergency beeping from the controls. They finally come to a jarring stop and the camera pulls back revealing the chopper caught in a spider's web strung up between the two towers of the World Trade Center. Then we got our look at SPIDER-MAN, the WTC reflected in his eye-piece, as he launches off the side of a building and swings at the camera. All shot exclusively for the trailer.

I'm hoping that's what they did here, because if it isn't then this trailer in all likelihood will be a logo teaser, with maybe some hint of Sandman and/or Venom... or possibly even just the black suit.

Anyway, keep your eyes open when you go to see the big blue boys scout at the end of the month. You might have a surprise visit from your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!!!

More Spidey To Come

Kevin Feige, the new president of production for Marvel Studios, told MTV.com that the upcoming third Spider-Man film won't be the last in the hit franchise.

"There will be many more Spider-Man films to come," Feige promised the site. "We already have stacks of ideas for the next one because of the wealth of stories in the comics. We could be making Spider-Man movies for the next 20 years, based on the 50 years of Spider-Man history we have."

Rumors have circulated that the third movie from director Sam Raimi would be the last. It's unclear whether Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire and his other castmates would sign on for further installments beyond Spider-Man 3.

"When you're concentrating on one movie at a time, there's a beginning and a middle and an end to that process," Feige said. "We've been topping each one as they go, [and if that happens again], that's the time for those discussions."
