| Amber Tamblyn to Play Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Little Sister in "The Grudge 2" From Slashfilm.com - By Elaine Mak - 2006-02-4 Amber Tamblyn, currently best know for her leading role in Joan of Arcadia, will star in the sequel to the Columbia Pictures horror flick, The Grudge, which starred Sarah Michelle Gellar. Tamblyn will play the lead role in The Grudge 2 as Gellar’s character’s younger sister. Gellar will make a brief appearance in the film. Tamblyn was chosen for the role after being seen in the film Stephanie Daley, about a teen who is accused of killing her newborn baby. Stephanie Daley will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this week. The Grudge 2 will begin shooting next month in Tokyo. This will be Tamblyn’s second role in a remake of a Japanese horror flick. She had previously played a supporting role in The Ring. |
