Anyone else here remember this show?

For some reason out of the blue while I was washing up tonight I started huming the theme music for it.

For anyone else that remembers the show here is a website I have found for it:

Yeah I remember it - main man was called John iirc. Then they had that kid whose name escapes me who was in Flintlock (Bay City Rollers riip-offs).

Didn't they do a whole series where the arc was about "gods" in pyramids on an alien plant which now strikes me as familiar from elsewhere?

I don't really remember the original series, but I had the books. Caught a bit of the remake, not great.

Never saw the remake - when was that on?

I'm trying to remember, possibly mid to late 80's?

I just googled it, the remake ran from 1992-1995 on Nickleodeon, but I'm pretty sure ITV showed it as well

No didnt see the remake. Probably remembering the original better than it actually was. Might pick up the first series on dvd if I find it anywhere cheap!

The remake was early 90's

I discovered the Tomorrow People last year when my dad got me a set of DVDs for my 14th Birthday. I'm now hooked, and close to having a complete collection...

Does it say when they were originally screened (the originals not the remake) as I seem to remember watching them.....was it mid-late 70's?

IIRC that date sounds about right...

The original ran for 8 series from 1973-79. The remake began in 1992 and ran for three series until 1995.

In 2001 big finish began a continuation series of audio's, curruntly there are 11 with four more due for release.

There were also five novels released (two were TV novelisations).
