Does anyone know how to convert avi files to MPEG-4 files so they can be compatible with an Ipod? Itunes can't do it, well, not as far as I can see.. but maybe I'm being dim? :unsure: I've googled a bit and can't really find anything that works. I assume there must be some software somewhere that would do it, but I can't find anything. And the Apple site is useless!

Any help would be great :)

A quick Google search of "avi to mpeg4" produced loads of programs to choose from, couldn't see anything free in the quick skim through I did but there are some that are fairly cheap.
