Title: The Lyon's Den

Jae - June 26, 2004 03:41 PM (GMT)
I've noticed The Lyon's den starts this tuesday on Five, does anyone know if it's one to watch or one to miss?

It failed in the ratings and was pulled before the end of the season...if that tells you anything. I, personally, didn't bother to tune it.

Yep, one to miss. It was Rob Lowe's first show since leaving The West Wing, he'd have been better staying where he was. Nothing special, not terrible, but a very limited run, so no real point in committing yourself to it ;)

Did anyone watch this last night?

Any good?

Rubbish

2 good characters is all - the longest hour I have ever spent watching TV

Might watch it again. There are only a few episodes 12 or something

I only watched it as it went straight into it after CSI. I lasted till the second ad break then went to watch Big Brother (Do I need to say more?).

Not at all surprised about it being axed mid season. I bet Rob Lowe wished he had stayed in the West Wing.

Rob Lowe and Joe Pantoliano (of the defunct THE HANDLER) will star in a new show next season called "dr vegas". Lowe plays a casino doctor and Pants plays his boss.

I liked the handler <_<

I caught the first episode of The Lyon's Den but switched off after about 20 mins as the plot and characters just didn't hold my attention. The little digs at the West Wing were pathetic and Rob Lowe should have accepted the pay deal that was offered to him and stayed with TWW imo.
