IDW, the company behind the Angel comics, and last years surprise hit Spike: Old Times, have announced two new projects starring the peroxide blonde Vampire.

In january a second standalone story, in the format of "Old times" will be released it'll be called Spike: Old Wounds, and involves our "beloved" William in the hunt for LA's most notorious serial killer the Black Dahlia. But only because he's become the prime suspect in the decades old case. It's written by Scott Tipton, and illustrated by Fernando Goni (the artist on Old Times)

Then in February, Spike gets his own 5 issue mini series which will answer two important questions about Spike's past.
1. How does Spike know Dracula?
2. How did Dracula come to owe Spike £11?
The series called (in a fit of originality) Spike Vs Dracula, will be written by fan favourite writer (and author of Old Times) Peter David with art from Joe Corroney (who did the art on the critical and fan favourite series Star Wars: Empire) The story spans almost 120 years in Spikes unlife.
