Title: Tru Calling The Re-watch
Description: Possible Spoilers for newbies

Here it is a Tru Calling rewatch thread somewhere for fans to put the comments about every episode. As this is just a single thread they is no point it in trying to put the episode in order so feel free to drop and post on any episode. I might be helpful if we put the title of each episode at the top of the post so we don't get confused. Everyone is welcome there will be spoilers for people who are new to the show. It also be worth putting spoiler warning if people are going to post about the six episodes that make up season 2 as I think they only available on the dvd box set so not every fan will have seen them yet. I must admit I haven't seen them yet either.

Sadly the show was cancelled before it's time :( but there is still lots to talk about :yahoo:

Murder in the Morgue

At the beginning of the episode we see how the friendship between Tru and Davis as she offers to him out for lunch in an attempt in to get him out the morgue. She can talk to him about her gift and she is grateful for his help as well as support. I think this is one of the most dramatic episodes of the series thus far. First we see Nicole body brought in wedding dress then Davis gunned down in front of Tru given the she already she her mother murdered in the same way making him even more hard for her. Then we see the bullet had straight for Tru Just as Nicole asked for help.

As ever Tru is trying persuade Harrison that she re-live days I think he the most important person in her life. I like the idea of the list and he thinks are the people are plants. She resorts to stealing Meredith’s car to stop making to her drug deal.

I should have known as soon as we saw the wayward Mrs. Reynolds AKA Christina Hendricks had something to do with it, another great performance from her as she is truly scary at the climax of the episode. The snow falling all around him he now must believe her. Meredith asking for help a touching way to end the episode

The Pilot

Every time I watch this episode it seems to get better! The opening scene at her mothers funeral when Tru’s mother speaks to her to tell her everything is ok and give her a glimpse of what is to come even if she doesn’t know it yet. Both Harrison and Meredith seem to blame her for things that are not fault when Harrison ends up in hospital after losing a cards he tells Tru she had her chance to help him while Meredith seems to have go when she talk to her about her drug addiction I think Tru has a right to be worried about her sister. Meredith says Tru couldn’t save her mothers and can’t save her which seem every hard on Tru as she know that Tru thinks she could have done more to help her more mother.

Harrison’s relationship with his sister is better she told him about hearing Rebecca speak to her at the morgue he tries to reassure her by saying I never thought you were crazy. A good introduction to Davis as well he seemed a little odd but basically a nice guy. The final scene is quite touching as Tru stands by her mother’s grave and says sorry for as she sees it failing to protect her and vowing to try and save all those who ask her help. A great start to the series!

The pilot was a great start to the show, just to introduce the jist of the show, but i think i prefer some of the more complex storylines better, where you can't guess what's going to happen.

Ems :)

True but as pilots go it was good I thought it was good. It tells you about Tru's family situation her mother's death and why she needs to help the people that ask for her help if you know what I mean? Yes the later episodes are better but it's a good start I like more as an episode the first time I watched it.

Ems thanks for joining it's no fun when your the only one posting here which I'm sure is my fault as I was slow get more topics posted.

Putting Out Fires

I didn’t enjoy this episode as much as others I thought the plot was a little thin. It was more about character development, Harrison while still not trying believing that people ask Tru for help he is keeping an open mind even if it’s only to see if can make money out of it. We see Tru relationship with Mark come to an end when you date your college professor it seem doomed from the start it was good to see get what he deserved when she catches up with him at cafe. It was also interesting to see how Lindsay reacted to the news before the day started over she said she would have let him know exactly how she felt but then when Tru took her advice Lindsay tells her how brave she is and that she would have the nerve to do what she did. I think the funniest moments is was when Nick visits the morgue Davis see him and calls him Mr. September referring to the calendar Tru gives him a look and he says it’s for a good cause. I think the ending of the episode is quite important to the series as a whole because Tru learns that she can’t save everyone and sometimes when a person asks for help it might not to save them.

On the whole it’s not bad but I think there are much better episodes!

Valentines

I watched the episode again lately I got me thinking Luc dumps Tru becasuse he won't let her in and tell him what going on in her life. Why did Tru at least to explain to all to yes he wouldn't have believe but nither did Harrison at first and he came around. If to Luc was that important to her it had to be worth a shot? I thought some of you other Tru fans might have an idea/opinion. :ponder:
