Title: Monkey

Outta Sight - November 10, 2005 02:09 PM (GMT)
Just read on another board that they are currently filming a re-make in Australia for airing on Japanese tv :lmao: Does anyone know anything about this? I would be soooooooooooooo happy if this were true and someone would pick it up over here :wub: I have incredibly fond memories of being glued to the tv following the journeys of Tripitaka, Pigsey et al :thumbsup:

<Weeps for childhood>

It was only a couple of years before Monkey and was shown in the same slot. It was more serious with nothing played for laughs. I think it was aimed at the teen/young adult market but was pretty serious drama.

What was the one with David Carradine called ? That was a good one, too. :thumbsup:

Grasshopper was what David Carradine's Kung Fu master called him when he was a novice. They used to flashback to it all the time :)
