I love The Avengers- I may even try to get freeview just so I can watch it. And Believe me, living where I live that is not easy.
But I hope they will be showing some of the black and white episodes- some of the real classics are black and white.

Are they repeating the series or is it just a one off?
When I was a lad a lusted after Diana Rigg with a passion. Confession time. My mouse mat has a picture of Emma Peel on it. There. I've said it.
If anyone's interested in 60's adventure shows then ITV4 are repeating some, varying from the sublime Main in a Suitcase to the ridiculous Jason King.

But then I looked at the listings and there`s another ep. being shown ( The Fear Merchants ) at the same time the next week, plus a repeat on the following day- and when you look it up on the SKY box, it does say 1/24 against the first ep. ( so I added that info for the listing :) ).
It does just seem to be the colour eps that they`re showing - seems ages since they ran the full series repeats from the pilot. <_<
