It all starts off innocently enough. Spidey tackles a new villain by the name of "Tracer" who claims to be a God of technology. He fires two bullets at Spidey that follow him, never stopping, until spidey catches one, but the other flies right through spidey's arm.
Peter goes to see a doctor reccomended by Steve Rogers (Captain America) she patches him up and draws some blood for analysis.

Peter is dying. :o :o

Morlun is back. The greatest villain Spidey ever faced, and this time his friend Ezekiel isn't here to help out. Spidey has a terminal illness and Morlun is back to eat him. Not good at all eh?

Back home things aren't much better. Aunt May is feeling guilty, she fancies Jarvis, the Avengers butler. She's torn by her vows to Uncle Ben, but still, it's been a few years since then..... Oh, she also invites Tracer in to have a peanut butter sandwich :rolleyes: Aint that just like her?

This storyline is going to last for the next three months, in all of the mainstream spidey books. The books released so far are:
Your friendly neighbourhood Spiderman issue 1
Marvel Knights Spiderman issue 19
Amazing Spiderman issue 525
All of Octobers issues were written by Peter David :yahoo:

In November all of the issues are written by Marvel Knights: Spiderman writer Reginald Hudlin.

Then in December JMS will write all three issues of the books.

The whole thing culminates in a group effort in January. All the writers will be credited in each of the books, it's going to be a group effort to save Spidey.
