Title: Babylon 5: The Complete Universe

A new dvd boxset containing everything a B5 fan could wish for has just been released. Very quietly and under the radar <_<

It even includes the dvd of "The Legend of the Rangers", the "not all bad" tv movie/pilot. It's also got all of the other tv movies in there. Pretty interesting.

I like their idea of a "perfect partner" purchase - B5 and the complete Star Trek: Voyager

Yeah just to confirm the relative merits :)

Though as I've said before I actually enjoy Voyager the most out of the "new" ones - admittedly not with extensive viewing of any of them.

I saw this in Smiths earlier this week - a very attractive box, and a very good price for it!

I wonder what they're doing with regard to the earlier movies - presumably they've got the standalone In the Beginning and The Gathering as opposed to the far superior US set with the commentaries

Yes, it's the R2 stand alone discs of the first 2 movies.

I've still got to get the R1 Movies set, and the new LOTR release.

If you can hold a month, I can take a look and see if prices are any better the other side of the Atlantic...

Actually I haven't had a look at the prices of it anywhere for a while. Might have to take a look. If I can pick it up for somewhere between £25/£30 I'll probably snap it up.

Failing that I wouldn't mind you having a scan cheers

Hmm. So the complete series of B5 is £149.99 which would make Voyager £337.99. Over twice the price.

If I were an Eastenders fan I believe my response would be "yoravinalarfincha"
