Ok well I gave in and bought the Lost Companion book to the series (although I have to take it back tomorrow and exchange it for another copy as some nit wit when opening the box it was obviously in, cut the spin of the sleeve)....haven't read it yet was saving it for Christmas!

But i did flick through look at some of the pics and noticed on the back page that Novels are coming out of Lost....looks good...anyone else thinking that they may read these?

First one outs called Endangered Species with a nice picture of Kate on the front....out in November 2005 can't wait to read it on the Bus! (after I've finished the excellent Da Vinci Code!)

Sounds like they could be interesting :ponder:

Any idea how much they retail for?

I think people who have seen season 1 already might have to glance through them first :ponder: Hopefully they will state clearly on the cover if there are S1 spoilers involved.

Retail @ £5.99

But from Tesco, Asda, or British Bookshops & Surrey Stationers you should be able to pick them up for about £4.

Just don't buy from Waterstones instore.........

Just to let you know that the Lost Novels aren't actually focused on the main characters but on some of the other survivors of Flight 815. Ones that aren't featured on the show.

Some of the main characters from the show do feature in the background and pop up from time to time, but if you are expecting the first novel to be about Kate (seeing as she is on the cover) you'll be dissapointed!

It does follow the same stucture as the show, ie focusing on one character and the story told with falshbacks etc but the first book doesn't have that much interaction with the characters we know and love.

Well they might not be as good as I thought, but hey I'll give them a chance!

I've heard mixed reviews about them but there are some pretty harsh ones over at Amazon.
