Stardate: Unknown A mysterious tablet is found in the ruins of B'hala, foretelling that "The Reckoning" will soon begin. As Sisko tries to translate the texts on the tablet, Kai Winn pays a visit to Deep Space Nine, demanding that the tablet should be given back to Bajor. Sisko, getting an impulse from the Prophets, smashes the tablet, releasing strange energy-beings. Subsequentely, a Prophet saying that she must defeat the 'Evil One,' which will then usher in Bajor's Golden Age, possesses Kira. Sisko does not intervene, even when the 'Evil One' inhabits the body of his son, Jake.

For some reason I enjoyed this one less than I thought I was going to, although I'd still rate it as a good episode
Winn is her usual odious self and it's nice to see the Bajoran spirituality theme given prominence again. I wonder if this could turn up again ;)

I thought the same thing - while this is another strong episode, it just didn't have the same buzz I felt back when I first watched it...
Still, interesting to see that it was Winn who used the technobabble of the week to save them...

More or less the same thing as what you guys said. :)

Yep. I think the problem was that the face-off between the "prophet" and the wraith was so dull. If they were going to destroy the station in the process they could at least have done a bit more than just stand there and pull faces at each other :ponder:
Nice to see the station evacuated again, though

You know, I hated the Pah'Wraiths/Prophets/Sisko storyline at first. Every time I see it now though I really like it. I think a lot of it depends on whether you like Avery Brooks and his portrayal of Sisko, an awful lot rests on that.
