Title: The 4400
Description: Anybody watching season 2?

Hovis - October 19, 2005 02:06 PM (GMT)
Loved season 1, and have spent watching the last couple of evenings catching up on season 2. (I still have last week's and this week's episode to watch.)

Great to see the wonderful Summer Glau in the season pilot, together with an out of make up Jeffrey Combs. Excellent performances from the two of them.

Really enjoying the show, although baby Isobella :fear: is beginning to freak me out! Looking forward to seeing how things pan out throughout the run.

I have them all but have only watched the first 3.

Much like Amber Benson seems to have been typecast as a murder victim in her scant TV appearances I thought it was a bit "daft" of Summer Glau to play another "sweet nutter" no matter how sweet she actually was.

They seem to be doing a "one gift per week" deal which obviously gives them scope but its nice to see some long term stuff in there as well.

I've only seen the first 3 episodes so far but am really enjoying it
As you mention above, the baby is seriously creepy :fear:

I think it would have been useful to have recently watched the first series as I had more or less forgotten what had happened :ph43r:

Glad it wasn't just me, but I found the recap before the trailers was pretty good so I was pretty clued up by the time things got serious.

I'm completely up to date now. Tuesday's episode was pretty good too, and I enjoyed watching Robert Picardo.

I like the format... plenty of scope for guest appearances. As Neil says, it works pretty well with the big storyline running through the background.

I also agree with Neil about Summer's appearance. While it was great to see her again, I'd like to see her play someone other than, as he says, the 'sweet nutter.'

I'm loving it  Last week's with the alternate reality was fantastic and this week's was just as good. It's must see tv for me :D

That was Sherliyn Fenn in this weeks episode wasn't it ? I hardly recognised her.

I've been enjoying the second season but its really picked up in the last couple of episodes especially with Tom's son turning out to be Jordan's assassin. :o

little pixie - November 9, 2005 05:07 PM (GMT)
Yup, it`s also one of my Must See shows !

I'm not overly impressed with the 4400 generally speaking in particular the first season. Which I felt was more like an imitation X Files crossed with Taken but not as good as either. I can at least say that this second season has been a massive improvement and the series feels like it has its own identity now.

I have only just watched last week's episode which I would say it was the first episode that I actually enjoyed. Hopefully this marks a turning point and I continue to enjoy this series. Fingers crossed anyway.

I was also pleased to see an earlier episodes summer glau and Romy from Kev Trek in a recurring role

Why would you continue to watch a show well into the second series if you've never enjoyed an episode of it till now ? :)

I like to watch most sci-fi/Cult series at least at first and I hope that they get better. Also sometimes it can take a while for me to like a character or the fictional world they are in. I would hate to give up on a series which I could later love. Maybe I'm a little strange this way? I managed to sit through most of Kev Trek even though it was mostly bad especially during the later seasons, but occasionally there were the odd episode which wasn't too bad. I guess basically I love watching sci-fi. :)

I admire your patience. :) I watch too many shows as it is so I will try and give a new show a fair chance but if after a few episodes it hasn't grabed me in any way then I drop it.

I've enjoyed both series a lot. I know the show isn't all that original, but I like the concept. I like the fact we have the whole 4400 storyline running through each episode, with each single episode focusing on, usually, one particular returnee.

There've been a few twists and turns too, which have been interesting. And the baby is kind of freaking me out, just a little, especially the way she set Jordan up to be murded. And Kyle being the killer... wow!

I particularly enjoyed last weeks episode, 'Reality Interupted.' OK, it was hardly original... pretty much every sci-fi/fantasy show has done an alternative reality episode. It was still enjoyable though. The most recent episode was good too. I'm with the rest of you guys... I'd have never recognised Sherilynn Fenn, without looking at TV.com anyway!

Good stuff, and looking forward to tomorrows ep!

Poor Kyle :tear: I wonder where he's gone  A lot going on in this week's episode with Kyle, and Richard's reunion with his old army "pals" and the returnee who could heal but was wanted for war crimes. Not as good as the last couple of eps, imo, but still very watchable

Outta Sight - December 14, 2005 10:45 AM (GMT)
Oh.My.God. :o What a finale  It's been getting better and better throughout the latter part of the series and that finale just finishes it off perfectly.....although I'm dying to see what happens next now. I did not forsee that Isabelle would age like that but I assume she is supposed to partner Shawn to make some sort of "super couple" to save the world :lmao: And Jordan Collier or someone who looks a lot like him :lmao: is alive in some part of space or time

:tear: @ Kyle going to give himself up.

I could do without Maya's "it's not over" intonations in every episode  but, all in all, this has turned out to be one of my must see shows and I hope to god there's a season 3

little pixie - December 14, 2005 11:06 AM (GMT)
I looked it up last night - they`ve got an order for another season - 13 eps.

Yay  I'd've gone mental if that'd been it :o

Fangy and grrr - December 16, 2005 05:10 PM (GMT)
I enjoyed the finale but I didn't like Isabelle turning into an adult overnight without any warning it was just a bit ... rubbish, sorry can't phrase it anymore articulately than that. :)

Liked Diana and the geeky guy finally getting together and I thought Jordan would turn up alive again after his body disappeared but I thought the place we saw him at was the spot they were all returned to originally, maybe not.

I didn't realise Season 4 has just started. Is anyone watching it?

willowroolz - June 20, 2007 12:45 PM (GMT)
I've yet to see season 3

Crichton Kicks - June 20, 2007 04:42 PM (GMT)
Season 3 suffered in my opinion through the absence of one of the major characters. Fortunately, that problem was resolved towards the end of the season, so Season 4 should hopefully put things back on track!

I've yet to see Season 1!

I have it sitting on my shelf on DVD, as well as an off-air Season 2 and a downloaded Season 3 :)

One day I'll watch them....
