I feel I do have to warn people about this. It is only the first twelve issue storyline edited heavily to fit into a single 40 page issue :ermm: <_< Mainly for people who cannot be bothered reading all of the loveliness that Joss put into the 12 issues.

It may seem like a bargain, but it isn't.

Joss Whedon to write a Spiderman comics story

From BRIAN BENDIS PRESENTS...

Lee: And what will the other half of the book be?

Bendis: The second half of the book will be stories that are written and drawn by people w**king at Marvel now who are going to write stories that are a tribute to you.

Lee: Oh, wow! Really?

Bendis: Yeah. Joss Whedon, who created “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” is doing one.

Lee: My God. I met him at a dinner years ago. What a nice guy. Bendis: He’s actually w**king with an artist that I w**k with a lot named Michael Gaydos. I’m reading the project rundown right now and it says:

STAN LEE PROJECT:

Five self-contained one-shots, beginning in September and coming out twice a month. Each book features a lead story written by Stan in which he interacts with one of the Marvel characters, a second story by modern day talents in some way paying homage to Stan’s body of w**k and accomplishments, and a third classic reprinted story written by Stan featuring the character from the first story.
SPIDER-MAN: Stan & Olivier Coipel/Joss Whedon & Michael Gaydos
DOCTOR STRANGE: Stan & Alan Davis/Brian Bendis & Mark Bagley/Bendis Fortune & Glory-style short
THE THING: Stan & Lee Weeks/Roy Thomas & Scott Kolins
DOCTOR DOOM: Stan & Salvador Larroca/Jeph Loeb
SILVER SURFER: Stan & Mike Wieringo/Paul Jenkins

Lee: Oh, Jesus. That’s wonderful. I’m really thrilled.

Bendis: You can thank Tom [Brevoort] for this. It was Tom’s gift to you. He really wanted to do something nice, and tried to put together the biggest people he could find. So it’s very nice and I’m happy to be a part of it. But what is also funny to me is that while we were trying to schedule this phone call is that you have a lot of crap going on.

Screw Joss Whedon (no offence) but I can't wait to read a new Stan Lee Doctor Strange story, and drawn by Alan Davis as well :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
